"We know that name...the Genoshian Princess?" Venom asked him.
"Good Eddie, you see the news." Ben snarked off.

"Well...things can't get any worse...huh Doc?" An intern said before a patient stood up, pulled out a laser and blasted him. "NO ONE MOVE. YOU COOPERATE..." He then turned into a Skrull. "And you get to live. We just want HER." He pointed at Carol.
The doors flew open and in walked a Cybernetic Skrull. "Finally...we have you Miss Marvel." The foe laughed. "Killing you...will help raise my name in the eyes of the Homeworld. I, TALOS THE UNTAMED, WILL KNOW GLORY THIS DAY!!"

With another push, the figure shot forward. Some power told him of the attack, and that Carol needed him.

Mary Walker was eating some cookies when she was startled. "What the-?!!!" uttered Mary. "AAAAAHHHHH!!!" yelled Ashley, completely terrified of the scene. Carl instantly stood up and looked at Osborn. "OSBORN, RUN!!!" yelled Carl. "Oh, no!!!" said Osborn as he runs off. "I must get away... I can't let the stress make 'him' take over!!!" Carol looked at this intruder kill the intern and she snapped. This was her fault. Thanks to her, the intern was killed. Feeling angry with herself, she takes off and flies toward Talos, preparing to hit him in the face. Carl takes a stance and also prepares to fight Talos as well. "I may not have powers anymore, but lemme tell you... that has just made me more stubborn when it comes to fighting. I'll fight to the death." said Carl. He then jumps and prepares to kick Talos' gut. |

"Perhaps someone got to him?" Venom suggested. He then suddenly shoved Ben aside as a form shot past him. "Sunday Fliers man."

Talos laughed as he skidded back. Carl did nothing, and the barrier erected by the Abundant Glove took most of Carol's blow. "So mad...I assume you think the human dead? No...at least, not yet. Stun setting, but that can be revoked." He raised his glove. "If you just die h."
The wall exploded and a glowing fist connected with Talos, sending home flying. "No one dies."
Talos got up and stared. "WHO D...d...d...impossible. You...you..."
"Are dead? Not anymore. While my ressurection is at the behest of a man god playing children's games...let me assure you I am not Talos. Take your men and flee. This place, this people...and especially Carol...are mine to protect. Go tell your master Mar-Vell says to leave the Earth alone. You and the Supreme Intelligence will NEVER have it."
"KILL HIM." Six more Skrulls reveal themselves, only to be blasted before they can fire back. "So...so fast."
"LAST WARNING SKRULL, FLEE OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES." Mar-Vell yelled. Talos got up and ran, the conscious Skrulls picked up the ones that were not and followed. Once they were gone, Mar-Vell dropped to his knees and gasped. "Thank Hala...I spent most of my reserves flying here...from Battlerealm." He turned. "Is...everyone ok?"

Carol looked at Mar-Vell. She went to him slowly and then broke up as she hugged him. She felt that she had failed him. "I'm sorry, Captain..." said Carol sadly. "I have disappointed you." |

"You say that as if idenity theft is an alien concept to me." Ben sighed as he kelt swinging. "Mind control can be a thing too. Is Purple Man...no, he is a Genoshian Ambassador. He wouldn't risk losing his diplomatic immunity."

What do you want?" said the Typhoid personality. Then, her expression became gentle and kind once more, and she seemed extremely ashamed of herself. |
