Mystique and Emma Frost were chained to walls. They had been captured by Senyaka, enemy of Magneto. The hooded mutant walked in and started lashing them, causing them to grunt with pain.
"WHERE ARE THEY?" yelled Senyaka.
"Nfff... forget it... we'll never tell you..." said Emma.
"We would die instead of handing them over to you... agh..." grunted Mystique before being lashed.
"It is unwise to cross me." said Senyaka.
"What do you want with them? Why are you so interested in taking them away from us?" said Emma.
"Because they will become part of my group..." uttered a gigantic demonic-looking creature as he walked in. "My Theater of Pain... once they grow up, their powers will surpass those of my other players and they will obey my every command!!!"
Brimstone Love, head of the Theater of Pain. Now, he wanted what Emma and Mystique hid from him.
"Senyaka... I believe more extreme torture methods are needed." said Brimstone.
"No matter what pain you inflict on us... we'll never cooperate with you..." said Mystique, tearing up as she thought about the two beings she and Emma were protecting.
"To give them to you would be an insult to Magneto." said Emma defiantly.
"Oh... bad choice of words, my dear." said Brimstone before letting out a loud laugh.
Senyaka also laughed.
"Senyaka... I guess it's time for us to aim the Astro-Mazer at Genosha." said Brimstone.
"NO!!! YOU CANNOT DO THIS!!!" yelled Emma.
"Choose... it's either your children or the entire mutant population of Genosha." said Brimstone with a grin.
Emma and Mystique looked at each other and teared up. They wanted to prevent these people from taking their young ones, so they left them in the care of a human, but now, because of this, they were risking the population of Genosha.

"You'll find Genosha is not a target worth shooting Mr. Love...can I call you Brimstone, actually...it sounds better." Fabian Cortez stepped down. "After all, all you will do is trigger defenses and in about 5 minutes after that Exodus will be up here ranting about how he's the greatest motherfucker who ever lived and...trust me...it gets annoying." He glanced at the prisoners way. "Now...I have no love for anyone here. Ask Senyaka, I let my sister die for my own gains."
"It's true." Shinobi said before taking a swig of a flask.
"See? But what I do have is hate, and you are a...grimacing demon like mutant who can trust hate, right?" Fabian said to him. "There are much more gratifying means of going about this that won't have Magneto breathing down your neck right away, and with a measure of success. Now...to be honest, I am doing this for Mojo. You want to stay on his good side here. Do so and you will see he is a giver. He wants a show..and given how you are the head of a theater...you get that."
Cortez smiled. "What if I can turn someone weaker and more easy to break to you? All we ask is that you do not fire. We'll make it fun, we'll help your game...and...we make them watch. I mean you get off on that right? Making people suffer. Do this and not only do you get your answers..but I can lead you right to your errant traitors, La Lunaticia and Xi'an Chi Zan. Enticing, no?"
"And if you or whippy starts shit, Sienna goes nuts." Shinobi mentioned.
"Well, more nuts. I am kinda of out there. Dying and coming back tends to do that." Sienna laughed. "Oh...and Emma...Trevor says Hi."
"Oh...you minx." Shinobi chuckled.

Whatever hurts the great and powerful Magneto is my single...greatest joy." he looked at Senyaka. "So...what made you ditch the Acolytes? Not so fun without me Old Friend?"
"You're the mutant equivalent of herpes Fabian, no one would miss you." Sienna said.
"Why Sienna...speaking from experience?" Fabian fired back. "I am just curious. I mean...did they hold my recruiting you into the ranks against you?"

"Magneto... we have failed you." said Emma sadly. Brimstone just laughed after he was told of this. "Finally." said Brimstone before turning to another being. "Killspree... the time has come. Find the address of this Boynton girl and bring me the children... and if anyone dares to interfere, you know what to do." Killspree smirked sadistically as he drew his blades and then went to Earth through a portal. Brimstone then started laughing again. "AT LAST!!! TWO POWERFUL MUTANTS!!!" said Brimstone. "Once they are here, we'll put them in the age acceleration chambers." |
