History: Mortimer Jameson is a reporter and photographer working at the Daily Bugle, and the nephew of Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson.
A spoiled child, Mortimer is the ultimate suck-up. He always agrees with his Uncle Jonah and he detests Spider-Man as much as his Uncle does. He's not very fond of Peter Parker, thinking of him as a "pipsqueak" and a "creep". He constantly bothers Peter. Peter has gone as far as hitting him, which almost got him fired if it weren't for Robbie Robertson stopping him. Mortimer is also constantly trying to get a date with Betty Brant, but Betty always rejects him.
Whenever Jameson is out, Mortimer takes charge of the Bugle, much to the chagrin of Robbie and Betty Brant.

Abilities: Mortimer is a decently skilled reporter. However, he is a very incompetent photographer.
Weaknesses: Mortal. Like his Uncle Jonah, Mortimer is somewhat of a coward (maybe even more than ol' skinflint himself). He is also incredibly immature.
Trivia:
-When Uncle Jonah is away, Mortimer is in charge!!!
-Ever since Peter was fired from the Bugle and replaced with Mary Jane Watson, Mortimer's stuffy and jerky demeanor has started to subside. The feelings he started having for MJ played a big factor in this. Even his Uncle Jonah has noticed that Mortimer has become soft, and has started treating him much more sternly and roughly.
-He's 5'10" tall.
