History: Patricia "Patty" Winston is a medical student at ESU. There, she met Peter Parker, Angelica Jones, Mona Osborn, Bobby Drake and Jill Stacy. She became quite close to them and they could be seen hanging out after class.
Patty was working on a special serum to cure Michael Morbius and allow him to live a normal life. However, someone sneaked into the laboratory and added demon blood into the serum, which caused a mutation on Morbius and increased his hunger for blood. Feeling guilt, Patty started drinking heavily and almost gave up on helping others.
Patty and Peter Parker work quite effectively as a team. They have done quite a bit of projects together and they hope to do more. However, Patty's best friend at ESU is Debra Whitman. When Debra asked her to help her with the Neogenic Recombinator's design and construction, Patty immediately jumped onboard, but mainly because she secretly sees an opportunity to finally cure Morbius of his plight.

Abilities: She is very knowledgeable in the field of medicine, biology and science. She is also a good singer, but she hasn't displayed that skill to the public yet.
Weaknesses: Mortal. Due to her failed attempt at curing Morbius, Patty became an alcoholic and has been seen running around blindly at night due to being intoxicated.
Trivia:
-Her feelings for Morbius are quite strong. Even though she hasn't told anyone, all her friends suspect that she does care for him a lot, especially after the experiment's failure, when Patty started displaying a self-destructive behavior.
-She's 5'11" tall.

Peter was in his apartment with Jill Stacy.
"And I sez 'Begorrah!!! You really want to try it?', and he sez 'Why not? If I fail, at least I would have gone down with glory!!!'" said Jill to Peter.
Peter laughed at Jill's story. Suddenly, they both heard a voice talking in a singsong tone outside.
"Patty is a failure... she's a rotten traitor..." said the voice outside, sounding completely drunk. "She promised salvation... boy, what a deception."
Jill opened the door and saw Patty dizzily heading to her apartment.
"Saints preserve us!!! Patty!!!" said Jill as she went to Patty.
Peter followed Jill and he grabs Patty. He carries her to his room and gently places her in his bed.
"Man, she really went overboard with the beer this time." said Peter.
Patty started crying, thinking about her failure in curing Michael.
"Why does she keep going out on the lash like this? It's not good for the health." said Jill.
"Well... let's just say an experiment that would have saved a life went terribly wrong." said Peter with a grim yet sad tone.
"Michael... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." said Patty before bursting into tears.
