History: Anastasia Hardy is a wealthy businesswoman and the CEO of the Hardy Foundation. She is also the wife of John Hardesky (The Cat) and the mother of Felicia Hardy (The Black Cat) and Felicity Hardy (The Night Cat).
Dr. Otto Octavius was once an employee of Anastasia Hardy at the Hardy Foundation. Anastasia gave Octavius a grant to fund his research into a cold fusion battery. However, Octavius was not making as much progress on his research as Anastasia wanted, so she had no choice but to cut funding for his research. Several years later Otto Octavius (now calling himself Doctor Octopus) returned and kidnapped Felicia Hardy for revenge against Anastasia Hardy. Doctor Octopus then held Felicia for ransom. When Spider-Man attempted to save her he failed and Anastasia blamed Spider-Man for her daughter not being returned to her. Eventually Spider-Man was able to save Felicia and she was returned to Anastasia unharmed.
Anastasia still functions as CEO of the Hardy Foundation and despite her doubts on Spider-Man early on, she is quite possibly one of the few people that appreciates his help after he aided them in retrieving Anastasia's husband John from Wilson Fisk.

Abilities: Anastasia is a brilliant planner and businesswoman. She has allied herself with the Rosenthals for quite a few years, funding some of their most important projects (like Amanda's prosthetic eye).
Weaknesses: Mortal.
Trivia:
-Anastasia knows John is the Cat. However, she still is unaware that her daughter is the Black Cat.
-This is quite possibly the only character in the 90's Spidey cartoon to have more than two VAs (at least from what I recall). Rue McClanahan (The Golden Girls) played her in her debut episode, Dimitra Arliss (The Sting) played her in season three and Nita Talbot played her in the fourth season. I decided to pick the most memorable one of them.
