LI SUNG (BATTLE STANCE)
History: Li Sung was a martial arts master, teacher and philosopher.
Li Sung met David "Braemer" once while he was travelling around the world. Li Sung saw the inner force David possessed, in his own way. Li Sung also showed David how he could control his body to the point that he wouldn't feel pain. Impressed, David decided to go with Li Sung back to San Francisco. However, Li Sung found out that Steve Silva, his pupil, had used the blind master's school as a front in order to hide his protection racket. Li Sung decided to fight Silva and even though Silva's abilities were good, Li Sung was still a formidable opponent and beat the corrupted student.
Later, Li Sung kept training pupils, however, his health started declining and he started having heart attacks. He decided that it was time for someone to take his place. Mike Roark, Li Sung's choice for successor, was reluctant to take over due to being a cop, however, he decided that he should keep Li Sung's legacy alive.
Li Sung passed away peacefully in David's arms, while they were meditating in Li Sung's "Zen Garden". Mike arrived into the garden and saw David holding the master in his arms and tried waking him up. David's saddened response was "He's gone, Michael... he went in as long as he could."
Now, Mike is in charge of Li Sung's school.

Powers: Although he had no powers and he was blind, Li Sung's other senses were quite developed, especially his hearing. He could sense how others feel and hear someone coming from afar. He could withstand pain and cold temperatures and he could touch fire without hurting himself.
Abilities: Li Sung was a master of the martial arts, despite his blindness, and taught them at his own school.
Weaknesses: Mortal.
