History: Colin Roark is a police officer working for the San Francisco Police Department. He is the son of police sergeant Tim Roark and the older brother of Mike Roark. The Roarks have been in the police department for years, since Tim used to tell Colin and Mike stories about their grandfather, Shawn Roark, who was a captain in the force.
Colin, Mike and Tim once went to capture notorious criminal Joe Lynch. Although Mike suggested to bring backup, Tim's stubborness and pride got in the way and the three Roarks decided to go by themselves. Eventually, Mike's worries were proven right in a very unfortunate way. Once Tim kicked in the door, he went to follow Lynch through the window. However, the window had a tripwire and Tim stepped on it and activated an explosive. Tim was fatally injured and Mike went to follow Lynch. Colin, who was covering the perimeter outside, arrived in the room and saw his wounded father lying on the floor.
Sgt. Tim Roark died in the line of duty. Although Mike tried to keep control of his sadness, the impulsive Colin was just extremely angered and wanted revenge. When, they finally caught up to Lynch, Mike was carrying him in order to send him to a hospital. Colin wanted to kill Lynch, and a heated argument started between the two brothers. Colin aimed his gun at Mike, but then figured out that he was about to kill the only other person who understood him. He spared Lynch's life and finally decided that revenge isn't going to do any good for him or his family.
Now, Colin works as a private investigator along with Mike.

Abilities: Colin has advanced police training. He's a good sharpshooter, hand-to-hand fighter and a very good leader in the battlefield.
