Image/Appearance:
History: Sweep-Zweak is a member of the Death Sponsors which is a team that works for a pirate network in Mojoworld and led by a Spineless One that steals the airwaves for signal supremacy from Mojo. The team consist of Sweep-Zweak, Deadair, Lead-In, Cancellator and Timeslot. The Death Sponsors are considered the Mergers and Acquisitions Department for that pirate network that has established a solid demographic audience on a counter-programming basis against Mojo with the use of bootleg transmissions. The Death Sponsors easily dispatch a bunch of rebels sent by Mojo to destroy their citadel spire and their competition. The Spineless One informs the Death Sponsors that three potential ratings bonanzas have been left on Earth: the original time-dancer, Spiral, the Fallen Messiah and the geneticist Arize. Any of the three would benefit their network and would help successfully overthrow their network rival, Mojo.
The Death Sponsors travel to Earth and decide to go after Arize. Deadair is able to tune into the broadcast signal to Arize's location so Timeslot teleports them to Xavier's Mansion where the X-Men are protecting the Death Sponsor's target. A fierce battle takes place between the two teams and Sweep-Zweak engages with Bishop. The Death Sponsors appear to gain the upper hand when Sweep-Zweak uses his energy disruption powers to cut off the X-Men's access to their mutant abilities. Timeslot performs a cyberlink which allows him to teleport his teammates through a electronic mind-link but that link is disrupted when Bishop shoots the teleporter during midport. Arize remains on Earth while the rest of the Death Sponsors teleport back to Mojoworld.
Zweek got a late night talk show called Sweep Speak, where he hosts various people (sometimes against their will) and conducts interview. His favorite segment is Mojo Mockery, where he voices a badly animated Mojo bungling his way through life, with the best skit the time he rediscovered his feet.
Equipment: None
Powers: Similar to the Mutant Bishop, Zweek can absorb and fire off energy from outside sources. He does not seem to have anything he cannot absorb, but he cannot store the power for longer than 5 minutes before suffering harm. He can aso unleash a blast that can disrupt the X-Gene in any mutant for a few minutes. But he can't do this often as it taxes his body, even with sufficient energy reserves. He can however process the energy to amp up his class 10 strength to put him in the class 45 level. His body is covered in a durable chitin that can take armor piercing rounds with minor damage.
Abilities: Sweep-Zweek is an agile fighter skilled in countering blows and using his foes power against them.
Weaknesses: He has an upper limit of power he can absorb, if he exceeds this, or hold onto power for over 5 minutes...he is at risk of exploding.
Trivia:
- Zweek is the field leader of the Sponsors.
- He doesn't have a co host anymore as he ate 3 before Mojo II cut him off.
- He really want to have Obama on the show.
- His voice source is Zorak and his Theme Zarak....odd.
