JASPER (IN COSTUME)
History: Jasper Dowd, known better by his stage name 'Jasper the Magician', is a stage magician and illusionist.
Jasper met David 'Barker' in a diner and David became Jasper's assistant for a brief time and became mixed up in assorted hi-jinks involving Jasper's estranged daughter, her new boyfriend and the wedding between Lily Beaumont, the former flame of the magician's, and a conman. Of course, they manage to expose the conman and Lily decides to stay with Jasper.
Nowadays, Jasper still does his show, but unfortunately, due to his asthma, he can't tour around the country anymore, so he has to stay in LA. He now spends his time teaching Nico Minoru about stage tricks.
Equipment: Magic Hat, Wand
Powers: Jasper's powers mostly consist of magic tricks, like taking things out of his hat and making things appear out of nowhere with his wand or his hands.
However, unlike fellow magician Blackwell, who can use his powers against enemies, Jasper can't fight with his powers due to his age and health.
Abilities: Jasper is an expert magician and a gifted showman.
Weaknesses: Mortal. He suffers from asthma.

-The idea behind the episode "My Favorite Magician" was to reunite Bill Bixby with his "My Favorite Martian" co-star Ray Walston.
-He's 5'8" tall.
