History: Chief Paul Olson and Inspector W.L. Elliott are two long serving members of the New York Police Department. Olson is smooth and cool-headed cop, while Elliott is stern and hardnosed tough guy who doesn't tolerate any nonsense from anybody.

Olson and Elliott first met in Brooklyn, and they went into the Police Academy afterwards. They were involved in many successful raids and solved many cases by themselves.

Now, Olson and Elliott are high-ranking officers of the New York Police and they also aid Spider-Man in the fight against crime.
