Name: Absalom
Alias: None
Race: Mutant (External)
Team: The Externals
Voice Actor: Keith Silverstein
Theme Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1vqWVXnHJs Wind in the Wilderness - Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders OST
Image/Appearance:
Normal:
Spikes Out:
History: Little is known about his past other than a few pieces of information. He lived in the Old West near the end of the 19th century. In a small town in Wyoming, he confronted western-hero Caleb Hammer and challenged him, wanting to best a legend. When Caleb refused to, Absalom shot him in the back, killing him. Absalom was hung for Caleb's murder, but his mutant powers surfaced at the hanging. His powers manifested and he grew spines, which cut the rope and scared the crowd away. He was shot to death, and later reawakened, revealing his immortality.
After his mutant powers manifested, he left the town where he was hung and wandered the Earth for some time. He soon joined the Externals, other mutant immortals. In recent times, Absalom confronted and fought against Cable and X-Force. He works with Gideon closely, often acting as a more streetwise voice than the aloof Candra in their trinity.
Equipment: His bones often form his weaponry, though sometimes he has Single Action army revolver...for fun.
Powers: Immortal: His aging process was greatly retarded and he could apparently regenerate injured or missing cells from even near-fatal injuries.
Rapid Healing: Ability to endure injuries (within unknown limits) without lasting harm or even feeling pain.
Bone Spikes: Absalom's mutant physiology allowed him to create razor sharp spikes of bone-like matter through his skin, and from his fingertips. He could then manipulate these spikes to stretch to incredible lengths.
Enhanced Strength: Absalom can lift 2 tons.
Abilities: Absalom is a skilled weapon and gun fighter.
Weaknesses: breaking his bone growths can hurt him.
Trivia:
- Absalom is not a fan of Cable, too high and mighty.
- He is somewhat reasonable with Cannonball.
- He tries to kill Selene on sight over past issues.
