Name: Boris
Alias: N/A
Race: Human
Team: Solo (ally of Dr. Doom)
Voice Actor: Alan Dinehart (tfregenerationone.weebly.com/uploads/6/3/4/4/63446209/boris__alan_dinehart_.mp3)
Theme Song: TBD
Image/Appearance:
History: Boris is the father to Victor Von Doom's childhood sweetheart, Valeria. He was a close friend to Victor's father, Werner. Boris agreed to look after Victor when Werner inevitably died. Werner wanted him to keep Victor from falling into his mother's sorcery. Victor believed Boris was there to protect him, but his real mission was to protect the world from him, by keeping him away from his mother's evil path. He encouraged Victor to become a medical doctor like his father to heal people and use his talents and intelligence to help others, but Victor denied this advice and grew into the infamous Doctor Doom.
Boris has also taken the charge of helping to raise Kristoff Vernard, Doom's adopted son. Boris often keeps Doom's temper in check as he has yet to adjust to parenthood. He often reminds Victor of his Father's actions and tells him to strive to be like him. Doom has been receptive thus far, and aside from an issue where Doom got mad for Kristoff alluding to Magneto being an equal to Doom, it has gone well.
Boris' one regret is his daughter's refusal to marry a future version of Doom, which comes from the year 2099. He understands her view, but laments that she created a prison for herself. So long as she remains in Latveria, no man will have her out of fear of Doom 2099's wrath. Yet not even he can smuggle her out. Boris often ponders of a way for Valeria to leave, and yet... she still could not be free of Doom 2099. But... a father must try.
Equipment: N/A
Powers: N/A
Abilities: As Doom's chief advisor, he has a passing familiarity with most of Doctor Doom's activities and can even use some of Von Doom's inventions though he most likely has only a rudimentary understanding of their function. Boris is undeniably loyal, refusing to betray Victor von Doom even after extensive torture. Clearly a man of advanced age, he regularly relies on a cane.
Weaknesses: Mortal.
Trivia:
-Yes, that is the only line he got in the Spider-Friends episode with Dr. Doom. A shame too, since I feel he sounds the most fitting out of the three actors that have played Boris (there was also the guy from the 1981 solo cartoon, which might be Tony Pope, and the guy from the second season of the 1994 Fantastic Four cartoon, which most definitely sounds like Beau Weaver using his Mr. Fantastic with an accent).
-He's 5'8" tall.
