History: Alistair Smythe is the son of inventor and businessman Henry Smythe.
Alistair and his father worked very closely in various experiments. However, one day, while they were experimenting with mutagenic liquids, their laboratory exploded. Alistair was drenched with the mutagen and mutated into the being known as the Ultimate Slayer. He started attacking Spider-Man and almost killed him, but he decided not to, because it wasn't in his nature.
Henry Smythe felt guilt for his son's condition and started selling his inventions to the highest bidder. However, the highest bidder has been J. Jonah Jameson most of the time, and Smythe's creations are now commonly referred to as Spider-Slayers. While Smythe tries to make money to finance a research to find a cure for his son, Alistair is roaming around New York as a vigilante.

Powers: As the Ultimate Slayer, Smythe has incredible strength and superhuman durability. He also has laser tendrils that fire acid slime that can melt away through metal.
Abilities: Genius Intelligence, Skilled Engineer, Skilled Combatant
Weaknesses: Mortal.

-He sometimes is at odds with Spider-Bot since he also has feelings for Spider-Gwen.
