Anastasia Hardy and John Hardesky (in civilian attire) were hugging each other as they cried, feeling the pain of losing Felicia. A girl walked into their room.
"Mr. and Mrs. Hardy?" asked Lydia Putnam with tears in her eyes.
John and Anastasia looked at her.
"My name is Lydia Putnam. I was a friend of your daughter, and... we were both considering in becoming more than that... I... I loved her." said Lydia with sadness.
John and Anastasia looked at each other and then went to Lydia.
"She was always so kind and sweet to me... I wanted her to stay with me... but I guess dreams can always be shattered." said Lydia, hugging John.
John hugged her back.
"Poor thing..." said Anastasia with sadness.
Lydia then hugged Anastasia, who returned the hug warmly. John then looks at his Cat costume.
"I wish I had never become the Cat... all it brought me is misery... I rarely spent time with my family, I couldn't be there for Felicia when she was growing up, it forced me to let others raise Felicity... it ruined my life..." said John.
"John... you did what you had to do... you couldn't help it... Felicity may have become a criminal when you handed her over to the Thieves' Guild, but she still loves you despite that." said Anastasia. "At least Felicia still managed to choose a better path."
"Yes, but now, I bet the Guild is planning to use this against me... they'll try to make me part of them... and that is why the Cat has to go... it brought me nothing but pain." said John. "I wish I had never gotten involved with them... then, we would have our two daughters here, at home, where they should be..."
John looked down. Lydia looked at them. She could feel that they were suffering as much as she was. She then looked up.
"Felicia... if you can hear me... I wish I could have been there for you..." thought Lydia.
