History: Miriam is the mother of Blade and the self-proclaimed Queen of the Vampires.
Little is known about Miriam's early life. At some point she met and fell in love with a vampire. They had a child, but after his birth, she was unwillingly turned into a vampire. To spare him the life she would then have to lead, she gave him up to an orphanage.
She then became obsessed with populating the world with vampires.

Powers: Myriam has the power to hypnotize beings. She also has fangs to bite through her victims and drain their blood, although she can also drain the blood plasma out of a victim with her hands if she is in a rush. She also has the ability to fly.
Abilities: Miriam is quite a charismatic leader, a brilliant strategist and a good hand-to-hand combatant.
Weaknesses: Like all vampires, she is vulnerable to sunlight, crucifixes and garlic. She can be killed by stabbing her through her heart with a stake and has to drain blood or blood plasma to retain her vitality.
