History: Agent Angus Thornton used to be one of SHIELD's best agents. He was the go-to guy for missions that seemed doomed from the start.
However, there was only one mission that Thornton didn't manage to save - Richard and Mary Parker's infiltration into the Skymaster's ranks. Thornton was supposed to get the files on Skymaster's operation from the couple, but they were shot down near the airport and crashlanded. When Thornton arrived at the scene of the crash, he found Richard and Mary's lifeless bodies. They both had been shot to death and the files were missing. He reported the failure to Nick Fury, who reluctantly had to tell the government about it and brand Richard and Mary as traitors.
Thornton kept working with SHIELD until he was diagnosed with glaucoma and left completely blind by it. He still carries the memory of the only mission he couldn't save and Nick Fury is preparing to send him to tell Richard and Mary's son Peter about who killed his parents.

Abilities: Thornton used to be a very good agent. He had advanced military training and was a very skilled sharpshooter, pilot and hand-to-hand combatant.
Weaknesses: Mortal. He is blind, having suffered advanced optic nerve damage due to glaucoma.
