History: Dennis Baker was a famed medic whose only objective was to help others with their health problems. He was respected by all the community, and then, the unexpected happened. A car passing by accidentally rammed Baker, leaving him seriously injured. Although he recovered, he was told that he would have to use a cane for the rest of his life.
One day, as he was looking at his stick, he noticed something odd. He then discovered that tapping his walking stick on the floor could change him into an Asgardian warrior known only as the Viking.
Equipment: The Viking carries a hammer forged from Uru metal, whose chief properties are durability, the ability to maintain enchantment, and absorb energies. This hammer seems to have the same properties and abilities as Thor's hammer Mjolnir. The hammer resembles more of a short handle mallet than a traditional warhammer. The hammer itself is already extremely durable, and combined with the various enchantments placed upon it by Odin, is even harder. It has survived heat as extreme as the heart of the Sun, and blasts powerful enough to destroy planets. It's main abilities are an electrical discharge and the ability to act as a conduit sending him to and from a Dream dimension.
The Viking often uses the hammer as a physical weapon. It has been described as impacting with sufficient force to "destroy mountains" and has proven capable of creating a small crack in the armor of a Celestial, with a rare exception being primary adamantium. The hammer also grants the Viking mystical attributes and powers such as manipulation of the electromagnetic spectrum, gravity, etc.
Powers: The Viking's strength and durability matches that of Banner's creature. His aging process may be much slower than a normal human's. The Viking's hammer is highly durable.
Abilities: Baker is a skilled medic, physician and scientist. As the Viking, he is a formidable warrior in the battlefield.
Weaknesses: Baker suffers from a permanent injury on one of his legs, which forces him to use a cane in order to walk in his normal form.
