History: Keemia Alvarado is the daughter of Flint Marko, who at one point was an associate of the mob boss Hammerhead. Marko took his daughter to one of his meetings with Hammerhead at a factory in New Jersey. Although he asked her to stay in the car, Keemia followed her father inside the factory and saw him be betrayed by Hammerhead. Marko survived Hammerhead's attempt on his life, but Keemia was transformed into living sand due to the method attempted to kill Sandman. Keemia, blaming her father for what happened to her, partnered with Hammerhead, who used his wealth and resources to help Keemia control her powers.
But before she could make her move she was taken from Hammerhead's clutches by Lazlo Octavius, who I claimed he would fail. Lazlo offered her training and control in exchange for a partnership. Keemia agreed and became Sand Girl of the Insidious Six.

Powers: Sand Control: Like her father, Sand Girl can control and even become sand. However, she has better control of her powers unlike her father. She can morph her limbs into weapons, become a literally living Sand Storm and shapeshift into anything she wishes. Impact attacks do little to harm her, as he physiology can either harden to take the blow, she can become soft to let the blow sink into her or just disperse. She can lift up to 25 tons.

- Keemia spends a lot of her off time reading.
- Keemia is good friends with Mysteria.
- She will have issues working with her father, however...she will do so if she must.
- She does have an open crush on Lazlo.
