Christa was one of the best students back at the New York High School, which gave her a chance to study law at ESU. It was there that she met Matt Murdock. They both became instant friends, but Christa's feelings for Matt were actually much deeper. She actually fell in love with the blind lawyer and found him to be someone to admire due to his brave determination of continuing with his studies despite his blindness.
Christa is quite a friendly and easygoing person, and she also is quite respected as a lawyer. However, she tends to get quite worried about Matt due to his loner attitude. She has a tendency to get depressed by the fact that despite their partnership, he seems to keep her away from his life at times.
