Name: Maguire "Maggie" Beck
Alias: Mad Jack
Race: Human
Team: Solo
Voice Actor: Neil Ross (Jack) and Susan Blu (Maggie)
Theme Song: TBD
Image/Appearance:
History: Maguire "Maggie" Beck was a genetics student at ESU. The cousin of Quentin Beck, Maggie was an exceptional student and was always eager to please her teacher, Professor Miles Warren. However, Warren always dismissed her attempts at pleasing him, being more focused on another top student of his, Gwen Stacy.
When Gwen died, Warren stopped teaching in order to get revenge on Spider-Man and the Green Goblin. Feeling ignored, Maggie's unhealthy obsession with her teacher drove her mad, and she decided to create a clone army of her own in order to make Warren pay for not showing appreciation for her hard work.
Adopting the identity of Mad Jack, she was involved in many bank robberies and used the money to create her own laboratory and equipment. Once it was all complete, she managed to extract samples from the Venom and Carnage symbiotes during their battles with Spider-Man, as well as Hydro-Man's DNA.
She then attempted to create her own clone warriors. Her first attempts proved to be unstable, but she managed to work all the glitches and now, she has two loyal troops doing her bidding - Aqua-Venom and Aqua-Carnage.
Equipment: As Mad Jack, she wore an armored costume that was padded to make her appear masculine. She employed a power-sapping chemical she called "joy juice" and entrapped her victims in sensory-deprivation "happy tanks" full of hallucinogens. When more tangible illusions were needed, she employed a number of sophisticated robots.
Powers: Prior to adopting the Mad Jack identity, she controlled a robotic black cat, which could attack enemies with its sharp claws and teeth, activate hypnotic suggestions with its purr, and could apparently nullify Spider-Man's spider-sense.
Abilities: Maggie is a very skilled hand-to-hand combatant, sharpshooter and martial artist. She is also an expert in cloning and genetics. Maggie is also a skilled computer programmer (specializing in holograms and virtual reality), illusionist, hypnotist, roboticist, and chemist.
Weaknesses: Mortal.
Trivia:
-Yes, Moon and Jackal now have more competition.
-The Aqua-Clones are a homage to the Hydro-Man and MJ clones in the 90's Spider-Man cartoon.
-She really isn't fond of Gwen Stacy. Not only did Warren pay more attention to her, but she was also the reason why Peter Parker wasn't as keen to accept Maggie's advances.
-She also isn't fond of Joyce Delaney. Peter was thinking about dating Maggie after breaking up with Alisa Silvermane, and they did go out together for a few days despite Peter's fear of losing another person he cared for again, but then, Joyce appeared and ruined any possibility of a steady relationship.
-She's 5'6" tall.
