History: Professor Pretorius is one of the most dangerous and feared criminal geniuses of all time.
He once escaped from prison and plotted widespread devastation with a nuclear weapon he called "The Kingdom Come Machine". While on the run from police, the snickering villain got a ride from Peter Parker, who was returning home from an ESU student party. But after dropping off the scientist on a road near his laboratory, Peter hears a news report that Pretorius is an escaped criminal and that he has been seen with a "youthful accomplice". Realizing that he had also become a wanted man, Peter changed into Spider-Man before returning to the lab to do battle with Pretorius.
One problem Spider-Man encountered trying to foil his plans was that Pretorius also had a way to shrink himself in size and Spider-Man had to undergo the same process to fight him. He was chased by a cat, but escaped through a hole and found Pretorius with a miniature atomic pile. Spider-Man ended up using water to cool the Kingdom Come Machine, breaking it down, before delivering Professor Pretorius to the police and clearing Peter's name.

Abilities: Pretorius has genius-level intelligence and is quite an expert in the field of radiation.

-He not only hates Spider-Man, but he also has a grudge against Hank Pym. Pretorius actually did his shrinking experiments before Pym even discovered his now famous Pym Particles.
