His flame barrier was soaking up the laser shots. "Release her before I reach you and I gift you retention of life and limb. Harm her...and I will gift said limbs to your next of kin." His eyes look up. "What the Man said." Thor touched down with him. "Tis two on one, and i doubt you are well matched against fire and lighting." "And my power." Lyja landed with them. "Titannus just got laid out by my son. Wanna see what his mother can do to that monoform's lessers?" Starblade looked at her. "And you people say I am still harsh." "What? He's a dick." Lyja said before errantly blasting a guy. "So was he. His brother tried picking me up when I ran with Paibok." --------- The hatch opened. "YOU DO HAVE A PALM ACCESS CODE Y'KNOW?" Star-Lord said. "Just saying. Would never lock you out." A Skrull entered, causing Star-Lord to pause. He looked like a non cybernetic Talos. "I'm from your Thor's world, not your weirdo with the dancing glove." Talos said. "I can actually shapeshift." He said turning into Fury. "SHIELD liason for the queen." "Cool. Buckle up then." Peter pointed to a seat. "Before they hog all the Skrulls." "DESTROY THEM!!!" yelled another Skrull as he fired. "DORREK ORDERED US TO CAPTURE THE SENATOR!!! WE EITHER SUCCEED OR WE DIE TRYING!!!" "Oh, puh-leeeeeeaaaaase..." said Skyboy with frustration as he punched another Skrull. "That just makes it even more fun. We'll be able to take off our gloves and use lethal force." --- "Too far away to use a palm and takes too much time... this way is much faster, hot stuff." said Gamora with a smile before turning to Talos. "Yup... he definitely isn't our Talos... or else, he would already have tried to kill us." She then buckled up. |

"Then death awaits you." Starblade said as he advanced. "I take no joy in this."
"Well, at least that improved." Lyja flew alongside him. "Human, behind you." She said, firing on a guy behind Skyboy.
Thor smiled. "Aiming for the head." He said, diving in.

"Is he really that much of a tool?" Talos asked as he morphed back and buckled in.
"He is....and then some." Star-Lord said. "but it's pathetic enough to instill mercy...or are just against euthenasia?" He looked back.
Chon-Dar smiled. "Latter."

Thor smiled. "Aiming for the head." He said, diving in. --------- "Is he really that much of a tool?" Talos asked as he morphed back and buckled in. "He is....and then some." Star-Lord said. "but it's pathetic enough to instill mercy...or are just against euthenasia?" He looked back. Chon-Dar smiled. "Latter." Skyboy looked at Lyja. "Thanks." said Skyboy with a smile. However, his expression changed when he saw a Skrull sneaking behind Lyja. He pushed her aside before the shot was fired. Skyboy was hit by a laser bolt. "AGH!!!" yelled Skyboy as he fell, wounded in the chest. --- "Yeah, he--" said Gamora before noticing Jan Caldwell being hit as he saved Lyja's life. "Okay, now I'm pissed. They just hurt the kid." She then angrily started loading her laser sniper rifle. |

"Alrighty, Auto Pilot is on." Star-Lord popped on his mask.

"LET'S BASH 'EM!!!" yelled Gamora as she finished loading her rifle. --- Skyboy was on the ground, grunting in pain. He then teared up a bit. "Don't worry, dad... if I don't make it... I'll see you and mom soon..." grunted Skyboy. "But... I must... make it..." He thought to himself that if he made it out of this one alive, maybe he would know if Lyja would like him as he was. Senator Lindberg woke up from unconsciousness and saw one of her captors taking aim at Starblade. She then kicked his hand. "DAIIIIGH!!!" yelled the hit Skrull. The other captor is about to knock her out again, but an enlarged hand grabbed him. The wounded Super Skrull was holding on to him. "You're still too weak, Super Skrull..." said Ultragirl. "Doesn't matter... if this turns the tide..." said Super Skrull. "STARBLADE!!! THE SENATOR... IS... FREE..." Senator Lindberg started running toward Starblade. Once she was far away from her captors, Super Skrull went unconscious because of his wounds. |

Starblade stopped his attack and simply rammed through the ranks until he arrived at the President's side. "Go...run towards the Milano. I will cover you and get my way to Kl'rt I am not known for ungratefulness." he said, looking at her with some concern before he readied his blade and charged in.
As if on cue Star-Lord jumped out, took aim with his Quad Blasters and flew in. "WE GOT YOUR BACKS!!!"
"As do we." Out jump the Trio Skrull, having also gotten on board.
Thor was swinging Stormbreaker, and cutting down ranks while Lyja was doing her best to pave the way for Talos to get to Skyboy.
"Out....of.....my....way...ingrates." Talos had turned into a Brood and began ramming and slashing his way through.

Ultragirl protected the unconscious Super Skrull while Starblade headed their way. Skyboy grunted as he saw Talos charging through Skrulls. He let out a sigh, feeling that he would make it after all. He then glanced at Lyja clearing the way. "Ly... ja..." grunted Skyboy. |

"Cover me Child." He said to the Trio Skrull, who nodded. He got down onto his knees. "Your suit did well, taking the blast."
Starblade was there near Ultra Girl and Super Skrull. <"Take him back to the ship, I got these fools."> He spoke to her in Kree.
"You guys are not worth Elemental mode." Star-Lord said, cutting loose.
Thor looked around. "They are pretty numerous though."

"And yeah... if it weren't for this suit... that shot would have killed me... but all it did was to crack some bones near my lungs." He then took a rather labored breath, trying to keep himself alive. Ultragirl nodded and ran back to the ship, carrying Super Skrull on her back. "Yeah, but what are numbers compared to skill." said Gamora with confidence as she kept shooting down the enemy. |

"You do have a point there, Goldilocks." remarked Gamora as she aimed her gun behind her and shot a Skrull's head clean off while not looking. The Skrulls start running around in fear. Then, they decide to call the retreat. |
