Hank Pym opens his eyes and sees his beautiful wife Janet looking at him.
"D-did it work?" asked Pym.
Jan just looks at him sadly and shakes her head.
"I... I'm sorry, Hank..." said Jan.
Pym looks down. All his attempts to gain control of his Yellowjacket personality have failed so far. He then got up from the table and walked to a console. He just didn't feel well at all.
"Hank... you tried your best..." said Jan.
"It wasn't enough, Jan... I now have to accept the fact that I'm getting old and tired... ever since I created that abomination Ultron, I've failed with every one of my creations... and my bipolar disorder isn't helping, either..." said Pym sadly.
"Hank... you're not a failure... look at all you've accomplished... all your inventions, all your work... you're giving up after all that?" said Jan.
"Jan... I don't have what it takes to invent anymore... I can't do things successfully now... I... I'll never be able to do that which makes me feel proud and confident... I... please, leave me alone..." said Pym with extreme sadness.
Jan looked down sadly and walked out. It hurt her to see her husband so doubtful of himself. What she always liked about him was that he was always happy and optimistic, but now, that optimism was almost dead. She then looked down and rubbed her stomach.
"I guess it's not the time to tell him about you, sweetie..." said Jan as she looked at her abdomen.
She was expecting a baby. She wished the news would cheer up Hank, but he was too low now to hear it, and it might make him feel even more pessimistic, because he had never had kids before, and with his current doubts, he wouldn't think he could make a good father.

"Excuse me for intruding, but...can I speak to you about this. Not as an Avenger, but technically as...your Grandson?" Vision had come for something else, having phased into his lab a minute ago. "After all Hank, we are family. I know you look upon Ultron as your greatest failure but...you need to see beyond him. Look at myself, Jocasta and Victor. You might have made him...but did he not, in turn, create three people you can be proud of?" He asked him as he floated there. "I know I tend to gravitate to Simon as Wonder Man and I are mentally the same...however...I have never discounted our own bond." He touched down. "Take heart. If Ultron can do it...you...the being who made him, can. Simon has surpassed me in a lot of ways, and I was once considered the superior one. You...can...will...do the same." He smiled.

"Congratulations Wasp." Sitting against a wall, surfing on her arm was Viv. "Father is in there, talking to him. Do not worry, we already knew. The curse of enhanced senses. We swore to let you tell him. He told me...that is important."

I really am excited about this... we're finally gonna have a new member in the Pym family." said Jan. "I don't know how to react. One part of me is excited, the rest is incredibly nervous." |

"How do you get rid of you?" Vision asked him. "You are the sum of your whole. To deny your dark side...is to deny yourself. This is likely the root cause of your issue. Look how mad it is driving David Banner. I do not think there is a cure because...like it or not...it is a part of who you are, as is the Ultron Programming in me. Try as I might, it stays in me. Sometimes he can access it and use me on you...other times I can block him. Does that diminish my worth in your eyes?"

The X-Men have a shapeshifter, they offer struggle with the many identities they often partake in as part of their nature. Changeling, I believe his name is. He also had a brush with a dark side due to being kidnapped by Mister Sinister. We could contact Xavier and see if he might be able to help you out." Vision said after a quick assessment of Hank's needs. "I only say this as you are almost something of a changeling yourself due to your myriad of personas."

I guess we'll have to put that in motion." said Hank. --- "I'm just... nervous. It's been quite a while since I've seen Jocasta. She... she felt that she wasn't worthy to be part of our team... and I feel kinda guilty for not reaching out to her... she never spoke about her inner feelings... but if only I had known... I could have helped her with her insecurities." said Jan, feeling guilt. "I should have been more nurturing." |

(To advance the plot)
Suddenly, a bomb explodes and smoke engulfs everyone.
"WHAT THE-- AAAGH!!! LET GO OF ME!!!" yelled Jan as she was taken away by an unknown assailant.
Inside Hank's laboratory, he has heard Jan.
"JAN!!!" yelled Hank.
As the smoke started clearing, he saw her being dragged away into a portal by a female Venom, who hissed at them before going in. Hank ran to the portal, but it closed before he could get in.
"NOOOOOOO!!!" yelled Hank with anger and despair as he clutched his head.
His wife was now captured. What if they used her against him?
"I failed... I couldn't protect her... I was useless." said Hank, crying.

"GET UP!" Vision's optics were burning. "SHE DID NOT GO ALONE HANK!!! VIVIAN!!!"

"You brazenly attacked Avengers Tower, somehow impossibly got past the most high tech security system in existence.,..and you did not assume there would be opposition?" Viv said as she stuck her hand into the chest of the female Venom. "Let go of the pregnant woman or else I will crush your heart. Your life means nothing to me. I will not let Hank suffer as I did." Her voice was cold. She was also transmitting her location to the Champions and Vision with her built in modem.
(OOC: Sorry...just...one does not simply attack Avengers HQ and walk out.)
