"It has been for decades. No offense, but it is hard to spot when it's the face of the majority." Luke said to her. "It just now has a fancier face."

Death was already making an ice slide to the blimp. "Time to be judged...DEATH AWAITS YOU!!!"

But then the armored form of Doom shot past him.

"SKYMASTER!!! YOU CROSSED A LINE, AND WILL NOW FACE THE FURY OF DOOM!!!" Doom 2099 yelled as his silver armor burned with power.

"You want to try your aging touch with an immortal?" Gideon lunged at Avis. "Let's see you choke on Eternity!!!"

Doom touched down and looked at the Shocker. "YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!! YOU KNOW WHAT I AM!!! WOULD YOU DARE STAND AGAINST THE SOVREIGN OF LATVERIA HERMAN SCHULTZ?"

Crule was on all fours and staring at his foemen. "So many to kill." He smiled wickedly.

"Then don't waste time stalking." Mamushi transformed and charged in.

Jack and Night Cat got to Carol and Sarah. "Get Sarah, I'll try to distract these buggers."

"I got you Sarah, you ok?" Night Cat asked.

"SKYMASTER!!!" Luke Cage looked around. "WHERE ARE YOU CHICKEN SHIT?"

Doom turned, as Jake Gallows came into view.

"Attacking the President of 2099? Assassin, punishment is Death by..." Jake put away the gun and pulled out his bat. "Beating."

"Are you shitting me Gargan?" Luke went and grabbed the tail. "This is some bullshit for a guy like you. What the Hell are you all doing?"

Gideon smiled. "You think you got power Bird Man? You don't. I am as powerful as the company I keep. Even robotic life fuels me." Gideon made a fist. "And now...to make you all pay for your raid last week."

Mamushi smiled. "Yes, bring it on." He held out his arms...only for Jessica Jones to fly at him. "Come on, that was my fight."

"Looks like it." Night Cat said.

"Come on Carol. Open yer eyes." Jack held onto her.

"You are a match. I am a raging inferno. I have it too, I have you...I have it all and all it takes is living." Gideon held his arms open. "Come Match, try to burn the all consuming fore of life."

Jake stumbled back. "Buddy, I'm made to take hits. You...are made to look like a quilt. I can't wait to paint it red."

Doom broke off and went towards Skymaster. "You sought a bug, you found a Warlord."

"And what the fuck did Colorado do to you?" Luke winced as he struggled with him.

"Big man with a phallic weapon. Seen bigger." Jessica said, going to grab him.

"You know snakes do not trust their eyes so much." Mamushi said. "Fair warning."

"You can...take a hit." Night Cat said.

"You'll recover. This guy...I don't think it'll last. Gideon's kinda got his number." Jack said.

Gideon smiled as he grabbed on. "Are you stupid? I just told you...your power...it's a pale imitation of mine. I don't age, and I feed on the power levels of all around me. You're about to drown. Here...lemme pull you in Son." Gideon laughed.

"Gideon...fancy meeting you here." Eleven said as the X-Men appeared.

"Cable's Zero unit? And...who are you?" Gideon paused.

"I AM ARMAGEDDON, THE ONE WHO DID THIS...YOU WILL PAY!!!" Armageddon paused. "This feeling? Drake?" He turned. "No...what..."

"I am not the one of this Earth...and I do not know you. Yet you serve Xavier?" Death stared. "Interesting."

Dogpool saw Jackie being pulled and ran, barking.

"Oh what is this? A Man going after a woman. Sexist motherfucker." NTW looked at Yukio. "Let's get him."

Little did he know Ben was on top of him, almost literally. He was letting Chameleon be distracted.

Doom blocked the blade. "This armor is made of alloys not yet discovered Skymaster. In my time I rule America, and those who dare harmt he land of Doom...meet only one fate: Death."

Jake was almost on top of Shocker. "And now, for some pain." He lifted his bat, only for a tentacle to grab onto it. "What?"

"You fools never see me coming." An man in a white and green power suit tossed Punisher aside. "Uncle Dmitri, eyes up." Lazlo repoisitoned himself. "Seriously Herman, you should have started blasting the floor below him."

"Dad, can you not try to pontificate?" A woman appeared behind Mamushi. "He;s a stupid beast, surely you aren't rusty enough that you need to outwit him?" Mysteria said as she dodges a swipe.

"And you are?" Mamushi asked.

"Distracting." She said as Iguana pounced on Mamushi. "Now Dad, can we get along enough to win here?"

"And who the fuck are these guys?" Jessica said as sand hands snared her."

"My Insidious Six. I am Lazlo Octavius, son of Otto. The Superior Octopus." The man turned. "And I am helping anyone who helps my Father and his own." Flanking him was Aftershock and Hobgoblin II.

"And now this has become an annoyance." Doom said. "DEATH?"

Bobby Drake turned to them. "So it begins, your end."

"That would be the case...if I were not two steps ahead." As Death approached, Lazlo turned to Kingsley. "Daniel,e xactly where I told you to throw."

Hobgoblin pulled out his Pumpkin bomb and threw it so it hit the ground ahead Death, causing a massive explosion to hit him. He was beginning to melt. "Now Aftershock...fire." Aftershock charged up and blasted Death back,w ho felt the pain in his weakened state. Lazlo slowly went over to him. "Oh look who is turning back into meat from strain?" He looked up at Bushwhacker. "Gonna let this mutie live?"

Bushwhacker looked down and then back at the others. "Nah." Bushwhacker took aim and fired, killing Death.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Luke yelled.

"They ain't working with Muties." Bushwhacker said.

"Actually...I am one." Lazlo said, quickly impaling Bushwhacker through the chest. "Thank you. I wanted to be sure he wouldn't get back up."

Bushwhacker spewed blood from his mouth. "Fucking...mutie...sc*SPLORTCH*" He then fell over, dead.

"And that is two down." Lazlo laughed.

Gideon took the punch and stumbled back. "Good, now we're trying."

Armageddon laughed. "I might not have to do anything. Killing a Horseman is foolish." Armageddon stared at Lazlo. "A commendable effort Mutant, but now you have made a dangerous foe."

"We will see." Lazlo spoke.

"Now now Chameleon. Don't get stupid. You're outgunned here." Ben said as he tried talking him down.

Doom was growing tired. "Kristoff, now, the Russian." He whispered over comms, meaning Chameleon.

"Our guys? No....they were never with us." Jake got back up and pulled his gun. "Fuck off Shocker." The gun was then zapped.

"Uh uh." Aftershock stared.

"It lack alliteration." Luke went for a haymaker to Mac's face while he was distracted.

"Yeah I...what the..." The portal Death opened twice before opened again.

"How the..." Before anyone could react, black tendrils shot out as a face formed in it. "Where Death fails, famine will succeed." Out stepped a man that look like his very flesh was uncoiling. "Drake was a loser inmy world, and now he is one in this...twice over."

"Abyss." Armageddon noted.

"He told me to tell you, you will meet soon. For now, go forth...and cull the weak." Abyss smiled. "I am here for the Calimari Kid."

"Retreat." Lazlo said. "I did not forsee this."

Ben jumped down and grabbed Jackie. "You ok?"

Jack picked up Carol and headed back to the Marveller.

Gideon caught the kick. "Should have ran. I was part of Columbus' crew. Don't you think I've had years to honed my own fighting edge?" He grinned.

Doom was impressed. "To lift this much weight is impressive...but you miscalculate your odds." He said as he aimed his plams at either side of Skymaster and fired down, hoping to cause him to give out.
