Abyss cackled as he seethed towards Shocker and the Insidious members. "What's the matter? Realized i can't really be quantified as here?"
Ben took off running. "We'll hole up on the ship. "Jack and i will work on getting you all on it."
Doom righted himself. "A wise man assesses his flaws in any encounter. The hubris of my youth is gone Skymaster. I am infallible now only because I accept I can lose. Because i have that potential, I must fight against it." He slowly rose. "For I cannot allow my future to pass."
That is when Dogpool made his move, jumping onto Skymaster, fanged bared.
"A mongrel verison of Wade Wilson...interesting." Doom noted.

"We got the scientists, Ben!!!" said Dave. "C'mon... we gotta get us and the boss outta here!!!" said Shocker as he ran. "Well, it will pass... BY MY OWN HAND-- AAAAHHHH!!!" yelled Skymaster as he was pounced by Dogpool. "LET GO OF ME, YOU FILTHY ANIMAL!!!" |

Crule stumbled back. "Can't kill me Boy. Externals don't die like that." Crule snickered. "So pathetic, such a finite existence crashing against the jadded rocks."
"I assume you are as your counterpart." Doom pointed a finger and shot a blast, aimed at Dogpool's back, and Skymaster's chest.

The blast goes through Skymaster's chest, but there is something wrong. His insides look mechanical. "Did you really think I would be destroyed so easily?" said Skymaster through a speaker inside his robotic duplicate. "No... while you were fighting the Sinister and Insidious Six, I am heading for New York with the Megacannon. You have sealed the fate of the big apple." "NO!!! DADDY!!!" yelled Penny, thinking about her father still being in the hospital with the others. "PROFESSOR!!!" yelled Firestar, knowing that they left the Professor behind. "DAD!!! MOM!!! LISA!!!" yelled Buck, knowing that his whole family was there, and if they were destroyed, he would cease to exist. "GODDAMN!!! MY FOLKS ARE ALSO THERE!!!" yelled Dave. "Oh, god!!!" said Jackie with total fright. |

Doom sighed. "As usual, the witless think they are so great. You, Abyss, go to where we were, send the Externals and my Cabinet to New York. Tell Saul to engage, it will alert the rest while you come back for us. X-Men, I assume the rest of you were on standby? Call Xavier and tell him to act." Doom turned and began to make a call. "To my younger self...this is your future calling..."
"God damn, not a beat missed." Luke said. "Everyone on the Marveller."
Abyss scoffed and did as told.
"Oh and Abyss...Sinister has been watching Gideon for somew time now, call him out." Doom paused.
"Oh? Really now?" Abyss smiled.

Although he was wearing his mask, he was actually tearing up, extremely worried about what'll happen if Skymaster succeeded. |

"I have temporarily wrested command of the Servoguards to me. If your incarnation of me calls, tell him I am acting for the good of all, for saving Richards' city should prove our superiority...or whatever he needs to feel secure." Doom then sent out a signal. "All New York bound Doombots and Servoguards....there is a Derigible heading towards New York. Destroy it at all cost."
"I am contacting Xavier now." Armageddon said.
Gideon looked at Carol as he got on. "Ask the son of Apocalypse if he can help you speed this up. I apparently need to check in and see why Sinister is watching me."
Ben got on a phone. "Come on...I need to get in touch with the Exiles..."
