I can't judge someone for wanting to change their sex... it was your decision... and I won't go against it." said Peter. He then squeezed her hand softly. "And don't worry... I now know I can't give up... your mother... she is my rock... she keeps me in check... and I won't let anything happen to her..." said Peter. He then grabbed Joyce's hand and looked at her sweetly. "We'll always be together..." said Peter. "Even after we die." Spider-Gwen then ran to Nanoweb. "Nanoweb? Could you help us with something?" asked Spider-Gwen. She then looked at the dead CEO and gasped. "Oh... oh, no..." said Spider-Gwen sadly. --- "Yes... I understand..." said Silvermane, completely afraid. |

"The serum she needs to live." Spider-Bot said. "She needs regular injections."
"I can...point you to him." Nanoweb said, gesturing to the Spider-Rider. "He needs his own injections. What the Kingpin did to mutate him in our time...he needs weekly injections or...well...you can imagine what Venom is like when he is out of control right? He needs that. My Peter, top shelf geneticist."
"Suddenly interjection...you say you both require genetic stabilization?" Jack stepped up. "Miss...Stacy was it? Can you forgive a misguided, slightly insane mutate long enough to let me study a more permanent solution?"
"You could...cure us?" Spider-Rider asked.
"Cure her, allow you access to a power you fear but could then control..VERY likely." Jordan smiled. "That is if Miss Prez says ok?"
"Do it." Jane nodded.
"I know we will." Joyce smiled. "So...other Gwen...what do we do about you?"
"I got this. New Aunt...Step Mom...kinda my responsibility now too." Jane said.

Pandapool nodded and turned, seeing a man standing there.
"We gotta watch the streets for him right now, huh Easy?"
Standing there, smiling, was the Easy Reader. Formerly of the Electric Company fame. "One good turn deserves another Ace. Keep paying it forward. I'll leave you to this. But I think our friend needs solid words from a solid guy right now." He said as he headed in.
Pandapool stared before lumbering over to a nearby Vendor. He fumbled with a wallet and pulled out money and pointed to a hot dog. The man was oddly civil, likely used to this kind of weirdness. Once fed, the Species that Endangers his foes wandered off for his next adventure.

Peter." said Murrow, finally being able to utter his real name. "Oh, god... finally... the life I always wanted." said Spider-Gwen, happily knowing that now, without having to use the serum everyday, she could have the family she wanted. "The serum I use renders me sterile... I have to inject it every week in order to live... unfortunately, it destroys any embryos inside me when it's in my bloodstream... but now... I won't have to use it anymore." --- Silvermane got in the cop car and was driven off to the station. |

Spider-Bot turned to her. "Interesting. I do have adaptive weaponry myself."
"And you are something like a Synthezoid, but it was like someone just grabbed bits and pieces and...you are like a sampler's platter of your era." Billy stared.
"Can't forget to learn and grow people. Wisdom is the only real power you can trust. Any move made is with or without it...and the better informed ones tend to be the ones that matter most." In walked Easy Reader. "You've had a rough time I hear Spider-Man. Don't worry, your old friend is here to lend you an ear."
"Is that...how do you know the Easy Reader?" Joyce asked Peter.

"I dunno. Can I dare to hope you'll stop rib punching me like you tend to do like that?" Nanoweb asked.

"A further transformation, my intended Cybermutant Form. I can keep some control of it out of sheer will, but as it is...I usually need Nano to stop me from going wild. I can force a change into it with another serum...but i only do it if I have to." Spider-Rider said.
"And to this day I keep up the spirit." Easy said to them. "I work with Ace helping kids off the streets these days. He is a good kid with a good heart. Glad you got through to him.." He patted him on the shoulder. "I told you that your best power was your heart. You have to trust in old Easy. I know people. I read things man, it's my gift."

"That's what's important... at least you know what to do to honor the people who have died so you can continue fighting." said Peter. The coroners arrived and took the CEO's body in a stretcher. Gwen 2099 kissed the CEO in the forehead before they took him away. "Goodbye, Pete... thanks for finally saving me." said Gwen 2099 as she saw the CEO being carried away. |
