"Good... let's just hope Deathstrike isn't doing her thing already... if any harm comes to Ronnie." said Rina, trembling with fear and rage. --- "You mess with Mar-Vell... you mess with me." said Carol before Venom took charge of Shatterax. She then focused on Starspear. "I'm gonna have to get rough with you." said Carol. She then ran and seemed like she was going to throw a punch, but at the last second, she crouched and swung her leg to tackle her. --- "Oh, yeah. Trying to hold everything back together. First, I've been made to look like a jerk thanks to a fuckin' Danvers clone, the clone almost kills me, then an MJ clone starts a catfight with me and finally, Danvers herself almost killed me. Can't say I blame her, though. I was the one who thought she was responsible of MJ's capture because of not sensing danger when the clone showed up." said Spider-Carol. --- "If I knew that, I'd tell you. But don't pull the sad sack stuff your old man did." Joyce glanced at Peter. "Trust me, when he tried finding someone was not an issue. He has several ex's that could agree." (Posted same thangs ah did) "Well... if you say so, mom..." said Buck. Suddenly, Peter started coughing. "Oh, dear..." said older Carol. "Here, Pete..." Carol put an oxygen mask on Peter's face. Apparently, his asthma was quite worse than it was when he was young. Back then, he only used an inhaler. After the last time he was Spidey, however, whenever he was starting to asphixiate, he had to use the mask. "Thanks..." said Peter through the oxygen mask. Lisa looked a bit sad. Seeing her father this vulnerable was sort of scary for her. |

Man, he really has gone off the deep end." said Peter, feeling sympathy for the wretch but still being cautious. "So let's nail 'im." said Rina. "No... have you ever read the Lord of the Rings?" asked Peter. "Nope... I've seen the Bakshi movie and heard the BBC drama, but..." said Rina. "Well, think of Gollum from that. Is quite pitiful, but in his crazy mind, he is constantly plotting against everyone around him. That is exactly how Maximus is." said Peter. Then, Maximus let out a childish yet maniacal laugh as he was playing with a robotic kite. --- "Doll... you don't know how nuts I am." said Carol, smirking confidently. She had never been this confident before, not since Rogue had absorbed her personality. She then fired beams at Starspear. --- "I guess that's true." said Spider-Carol. "Well, we all have to deal with it sometime. Say... didn't your nephew say that you have a son in the future and that he tends to frequent your workplace without you knowing who he is? Should we find out if he is in there?" --- Peter stood up, oxygen mask still on. He then looked to the sky. "Yes... it is a fight. Give me those binoculars, Lisa." said Peter. Lisa handed him the binoculars. "Well, well... it's you, Carol..." said Peter, handing her the binoculars. Older Carol looked at herself fight and sighed. "Those were the days when my powers were at full." said Carol with nostalgia. Peter removed the oxygen mask, finally managing to get his wind back. Lisa then went to Joyce and Buck. "Mom? You and daddy know where the Alchemax building is located, should we take daddy there?" said Lisa holding Joyce's hand. "I kinda get worried when he gets these respiratory arrests." |

"We will wait for Brock and Carol before pursuing Anne Weying. You guys can go..." Peter looked at the sword. "And...dude isn't likely dead. People like that don't die so easily."

"We should. It seems our guests are leaving anyways." Joyce said. "Gonna shock your past self Carol?"
"It's not like we're gonna keep you being here secret." Sasha said. "I got the jacket after all."

Don't expect me to be as strong as younger me, but I'm just as tough." said older Carol with a confident smile as she took off. Peter then walked to his family. "Okay, Joyce... kids... we're going to Alchemax." said older Peter. "I'll take care of the apartment for you." said Hope. "Man... since we travelled through time... this is the first time we go out together as a family. I really missed this." said Lisa. |

"Best we operate as a pack." ------- Starspear took the blow and fell hard to the ground. -------- Ben went his way, following the plan. --------- Older Joyce smiled as her eyes shone. "Ready." "Okay, sis." said Rina. Peter gave them a thumbs up, getting into position. --- Carol then cracked her knuckles. "Like the new bruise I gave your pretty face? Looks good on you." said Carol sardonically. --- Spider-Carol then lands on the door to the cafeteria and looks at Paul Bennett hanging out with a kid playing a harmonica. Spider-Carol smirks, thinking that she might have found the one they were looking for thanks to the harmonica. --- Peter then went to the car and started it. "Okay, then... we're going on a family roadtrip to Alchemax." said older Peter, knowing that it would be quite some time from Jersey to the Alchemax HQ in Manhattan. |

Carol chuckled a bit and patted Starspear's derriere as she flew away with her, planning to take her someplace where she would be safely contained. --- "Recognize that harmonica?" uttered Spider-Carol, pointing at the harmonica the boy was playing, which was in reality Jackie's harmonica. --- "H... how did you get here so fast, young mom?" asked Lisa. "Well, maybe Hope brought her." said Buck. "Anyway, yeah... got some stuff to pass the time while we travel." said older Peter as he started driving. |

The FF wound up at Central Park. Jim Hammond sighed. "Well...that was...interesting."
"Indeed." Doom stepped away from the group. "Now that my need to remain has run it's course, I must locate my Black Cabinet and negotiate an alliance with this...other Xavier. Richards..." He looked over at him. "Your continued existence is...not disconcerting." Doom then checked his sensors. "No, that is not right...that one would be Kang..."
"Whatcha doin'?" Thing asked.
"Interpreting another hint Xavier gave." He turned. "Rio, your father is in Rio Richards. He said family is to be looked to. Johnathan would already be alerting you, as would your errant sister or Valeria. Therefore...the answer to find Franklin Storm is the elder Nathaniel Richards. That idiot Kang's namesake. South America and specifically Rio holds your father's usual temporal pattern...and to answer...Doom needs eyes to see who comes from my time. Some of them will not be friends." Doom looked at his old foe. "Consider this...a Rebirthday gift."

"I must try to find a way to reverse the control that the Intelligence has on her." --- "Yeah... but I don't think he is the enemy." said Spider-Carol as she approached. Paul and Art looked at them. "Hey, Carol... Art Lawrence, this is Carol Webster." said Paul Bennett. The kid with Jackie's harmonica grabbed Spider-Carol's hand and kissed it. She smiled a bit at this. "Well, you sure have good manners..." said Spider-Carol. --- "Damn... and it was a date that was going so well." uttered older Peter, now remembering the date. "I swear, I'm gonna kick that fatass' face in." --- "What? My father?!!!" uttered Reed. "C'mon... let's go." said Sue. "We have to start the Fantasticar." said Reed as he ran to the hangar. |

Nate isn't gonna poof on us if we take 5 more minutes Reed." Deathstrike then swings her claws at Laura, trying to stab her. "AQUA-CLONES!!! ATTACK!!!" yelled Mad Jack. Suddenly, two aquatic duplicates of Venom and Carnage appear. They look somewhat like their origin sources, but they have the powers of Hydro-Man. Then, they start firing water, creating a large wave. "RINA, LOOK OUT!!!" yelled Rhonda. Rina was hit by the giant wave and started trying to keep herself afloat, but the current was so strong that she sank. She tries hard to swim to the surface, but the current was just overpowering. A bit more, and she would drown. Peter dove into the water and grabbed Rina. He then swam up, but Rina was already unconscious. "Shit... Joyce is gonna hate me for this." said Peter as he started administering mouth-to-mouth resucitation. "DIE, HUMAN WORM!!!" yelled Skurge as he swung his axe at Peter. "FUCK!!!" yelled Peter, evading the axe and pressing his hands on Rina's chest, giving her chest compressions. "C'mon, kid... wake up... or we're cooked!!!" --- "Well, I have to know it first." said Carol as she flew away. --- "Thanks... my mother taught them to me." said Art. Spider-Carol smirked and looked back at Ben, nodding as if to tell him 'this is most certainly your kid if he is carrying that harmonica'. --- Peter smiled at her. "Well... I really do a lot of stuff without the costume, so I kind of got used to not rely on the webshooters that much." said older Peter. "Used to save a lot of web-fluid, too." He then sighed. "Now... I just have to sit back and try not to strain myself too much if I go into combat." said older Peter. "My powers are gone. I still have my Spider-Sense, but it seems to be going as well." "Ironic, isn't it, daddy? Here's what you always wanted... to be a normal person..." said Lisa. "...and yet, you seem to have mixed emotions about this." said Buck. "Well, I never wanted to have powers... I thought I was cursed for all my life. My powers brought nothing but misery to others. But your mother made me see that I was helping others with my powers." said older Peter. "That is why I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing." --- "Yeah... I guess I should." said Reed as he then went to the hall to find his sister and daughter. |

The claws sink in, with intention as Laura let herself get stabbed so she could claw kick Deathstrike in the gut. "Shit, Chuck, we need help."
The ceiling exploded on cue as M flew down carrying with her Buff and Refrax. "He already sensed something was off." The young woman said as she touched down. "So he sent us."
Refrax lifted his glasses and fired a beam at the Carnage clone. "Collect this fishbowl."
Buff grabbed a crate and hefted it over her head. "HEY VENOM GUY...CATCH!!!" She said, tossing it.
M slowly walked, before morphing into Penance and rushing in. "You mess with one X-Man, you mess with us all!!!"

"I think you do. You just don't want to believe." Venom said as he flies. "We can see it Carol. This is a choice."

"To explain, you are a superhero Pete, Spider-Man." Joyce said tot he confused one.

Aqua-Carnage yelled as he was hit by the blast. Aqua-Venom was hit by the crate, but just dissolved to water and reformed in front of her. "YOU THINK THAT CAN STOP ME?!!!" uttered Aqua-Venom. Skurge was hit by M. Mad Jack then ran and pounced on Peter. Peter struggled as he and Mad Jack fought. "I will make you pay for all you did to me!!!" yelled Mad Jack. "I dunno what you're talking about... I've never..." said Peter before grabbing the pumpkinhead and removing it, recognizing the person inside. "Maggie?" Maggie Beck was crying. "You and Professor Warren always ignoring me... you always paid more attention to Gwen, MJ and the others... but you never noticed me!!!" said Maggie, feeling neglected and abandoned. "And Professor Warren... he always went after Gwen... always obsessed with her... and me... ignored again!!!" "I... I never ignored you, Maggie... I just... didn't know how to approach you..." said Peter. "I really thought we would become friends..." "LIAR!!! You just went with her because you wouldn't have to deal with me!!!" yelled Maggie, still crying. "No, Maggie... I could have stayed with you indefinitely... but I just didn't want you to be at harm... and Joyce needed someone. Someone who saw her for who she really was, not what she looked like." said Peter. "I HATE YOU!!! YOU LEFT ME TO BE ALONE!!!" yelled Maggie as she swung her fist. Peter grabbed her fist and just looked down. "I... forgive me..." said Peter, tearing up as he punched her in the gut. --- "Shit!!! Then we are fucked... what do you suggest we do? Take her away to an asteroid and lock her up in that so she doesn't ever come back?" uttered Carol. "You know that isn't a very heroic thing to do." --- "Well, now that we are acquainted, shouldn't we sit back and talk about stuff?" asked Art. --- "Well... a few years more, when I completely lose my Spider-Sense, I'll just be... Man." uttered older Peter. "Not easy to be that when my life was changed at 19. I was still a lanky, gawky kid then. After that, it was twenty-six years of fighting other people with a one year hiatus trying to unsuccessfully rebuild my life... for Gwen's sake and memory. You remember that, Joyce... s... I was depressed and never used the suit during that time." --- Reed went to see Valeria first. "Val?" asked Reed. |
