Apparently she aims to use his crutch against him, so to speak." he took off his glasses. "Cause a feedback loop once the Control Rod gets close."
"But it keeps exploding the portal...and everything in a 3 mile radius according to the sims. So i am trying to adjust for the antimatter reaction once the rod is hit by the barrier." Val yawned. "What is up Dad?"

Rina then ran towards Rhonda and released her. "C'mon, Ronnie... we're going home." said Rina. "But what about him?" asked Rhonda as she glanced at the still unconscious Carl. But suddenly, Iceberg started firing at them. "Tahm to deal with the ice." said Iceberg. "We can't release him with Ice Boy trying to riddle us with holes." said Rina. Peter pinned Maggie to the wall and was about to hit her. Then, he lowered his fist. "I... I can't do it..." said Peter. "You... should have killed me when you had the chance." said Maggie before punching and kicking Peter twice in the gut. Peter fell and Maggie kicked him three times in the back before running away. Peter now clutched his face as he felt guilt and regret. He was there... hurt, abandoned and betrayed... just like Maggie once was. Maggie sprints to where Carl was and then takes a blood sample. She then looks at Rhonda. "I'll get your blood next time." said Maggie. She then jumps through a window and escapes. Aqua-Carnage follows her. He hands a briefcase to Iceberg and then grabs Carl and takes him away. "Shit!!! They got away with 'im." said Rina. "Ah got the money!!!" said Iceberg. "Take it back!!! We'll distract these meddlers." said Deathstrike. Iceberg ran off through a door and disappears into a hallway. --- "Well... thanks for reminding me of that, Brock." said Carol after she heard Brock saying that they were the bad guys from Starspear's perspective. It seemed the death of Dr. Kafka still haunted her. --- "My mother gave it to me." said Art. "And where is she?" asked Spider-Carol. Art's expression became sullen. He looked down a bit and then back at Spider-Carol. "She's dead..." said Art, his voice cracking a bit. "Both of my parents are dead." Spider-Carol looked at him with shock. "So... you're alone?" asked Spider-Carol. Art couldn't speak. If he did, he would start crying without control, but he nodded, trying to keep his emotions in check. --- "That's true... I might want to use that sense amplifier." said older Peter before smiling. "And you just would love to take a crack at the Rhino." --- "Well... I have to tell you something. That cough I have been dealing with lately. Turns out it was lung cancer. I only told your mother because I didn't want any of you to worry about me. However, Mr. Sinister offered to help me... and he created a new body, free of illness. So now, you won't have to deal with my cough." said Reed. |

I came here to talk to you and get some information for my law enforcement report. I believe you received the file." said Aqua-Carl, extending his hand for a shake. He smiled smugly. "The creator was right. She is perfect. The real Morrell wouldn't even dare to step near a woman like this." thought Aqua-Carl, still acting naturally. --- "Understandable... we all have to find our faith sometime." said Hill, nodding. "I just... girls do need a bit of privacy." "Well, this alternate universe Doom wanted to cure me of my condition. It was then where Sinister came in. He took us to his base of operations and created a new body for me. Then, an alternate Charles Xavier came in and showed us the purpose of the island. It is a haven for people who have passed away. Suddenly a wall blew open froma blast of solar energy. "AND THAT IS HOW YOU MAKE AN ENTRANCE!!" In walked a man dressed in an X-Man uniform, radiating ebon energy. Roberto DaCosta of the New Mutants walked in like he owned the place. "Hello. This is the part where all of you freak out."
Following in with him was a Native American girl clad in Valkyor Armor on a winged horse, poiting a bow and arrow at them. "Goddamnit Bobby, we had a plan."
"Plan was boring Dani." Bobby smiled. "Hand over Carl Morrel and maybe we will leave you with the ability to walk."
