"What's up fellow mutants?" Suddenly appearing in street clothes was Franklin. "Sorry, i had to do a thing." He put his phone away." "What did I say about warping and texting kiddo?" Ben looked down at him. "What did I say about my psychic power Uncle Ben? I check before I warp." Franklin told him. He then looked at Alicia and his dad. "But she is right Dad, what gives?" Massive looked to his left, feeling a bit awkward. He saw a book and picked it up. "Fifty Shades...what kinda crap is this?" Moonbeam took it and put it back. "Don't waste your time reading that." Reed looked at Franklin. "I... I wish I could tell you, Franklin... but I still need to find a way to say it." said Reed. He then puts his hand on his son's shoulder. He then looks at Ben. "Ben... could you do me a favor?" asked Reed. --- Julia was talking to Sue. "Sue... I had an uncle who died from lung cancer... and I know the symptoms. Tell me... is Reed-?" said Julia before Sue talked. "Yes..." said Sue, trying to hold back her tears. "He's dying... we got the diagnosis last week." Sue couldn't take it anymore and hugged Julia as she started crying. "He's facing it all without any fear, yet look at me... just the thought that I'm gonna lose him breaks me." said Sue as she hugged Julia. Julia looks at Sue and hugs her back. |

"I ain't giving him the talk Reed." Ben said, trying to lighten the mood. "I...crap, Webs is better 'n' them jokes than me. What izzit Stretch?" Ben said as he stood there, not liking the tone of his old friends voice. "And God help me, please don't make me wish this is like that time you had me distract Galactus. I barely survived dat mess."
Massive sighed as he looked at them. "You should just say it Richards. They're your family. Trust me, I learned how precious that is. You waste that and...forget it."

"Take this..." said Reed to Ben, giving him his pipe. "I don't think I'm gonna use this anymore..." He then looked at Massive. "Well, I guess you're right." said Reed to Massive. He then looked at Franklin and Ben. "I... I'm gonna die soon. I have lung cancer... it's in terminal state." said Reed, not showing any fear while telling them about his condition. "Because of that, a cure for Ben has taken top priority for me. I'm not gonna go before I finish it." He then sighed. "But still... I wish I could have stopped myself... I just kept smoking that pipe and now, I paid the price for it." said Reed with regret. |

Ben said as he destroyed the pipe in his hands. "Hell, I'll drag Deadpool in, mebbe you can decancer the both of you." Ben let the pieces drop. "There..God damn it Reed, there is no point inna cure without you there. Fix your own ass, I refuse to BE cured until you are..."
"One, I doubt you hit up many of our out of reality people to maybe see if they come from a reality where we cured Cancer. Secondly...I havemto try and practice doing it myself." Franklin looked up at Reed. "I need info so I can scour the multiverse to practice. Totally serious here. It's is like when I make realities from nothing. I need to try a fee dozen times or so."
"Just ta save ya some time, Fred and my realitiy is not Cancer cure enabled." In walked a mam with goggles and a mohawk. "I wish we did Mr. Richards. You don't deserve this."
"No...he does not." Petra said, agreeimg with Mortimer.

"Still, Franklin's idea is sound... he could search for a cure by contacting beings from another reality." said Reed. "Are you sure you want to try this?" asked Sue. "If you want me to stick around longer than the time I was given, we have no choice." said Reed. "This goes to prove that even heroes are vulnerable." said Julia. |

"The Reptilian...the...the good guy Lizard guy. We can ask him. Also...did we talk to..the guy currently dressed in Spidey's red and blue...y'know...considering his origins?" Franklin suggested, recalling two people who might help.
