"Me too Kid. I did dat once when Reilly invited me for a cup. Boy was his boss man. Lady can chew a guy like me out...I felt like askin' her to talk to Vic. Give him a piece a' her mind." Ben laughed at that.
"The inhuman girl with the black mark inner hair, ey? Lucky bugger." Toad said as he caught a man staring. "Take a photo mate. I'll leave a better impression like that."
"How do you put up with it?" Moonbeam asked him.
"Magneto. I learned to stand that bugger. Put up with him, put up with it all." Mortimer said to her. "Abusive Wanker he was." He said as he smiled at her. "Chin up. Stupid is blind. All races have it. It's a common trait that makes us human. We all got idiots in our gene pools. It's putting up with it that makes us better."

"You never had Wanda." Fred told her. "You wanted her but she never saw you, just your face. it would never work." He looked down at him.
"I know...I just...gah..." He took off his goggles. "Never found anything else ever." He said as he cleaned a lens.

"Eh, now swear offa my back. Got me my bestie, a Sentinel to call my son. I'm good." Toad said to her as he spotted a few books he liked, grabbing them. "Scuse me. Need some new reading materials."
"A sentinel?" Thing asked.
"Yeah, we remade him into our buddy. Kinda raisin' him like a Dad should." Toad smiled. "My Senty is a good lad."
