Not the Champions Team, the Grandmasters set Champions. Inspired by Mojo, he has found Champions inspired by Genres...as he was told contestans come in many flavors. So should their foes. Each one will be inspired by movie categories.
Comedy: Deadpool
Fantasy: Swords, sorcery, and magic here.
Western: Any Western themed character will do, so long as they are stronger and have good aim.
80's Action: Think Ahnold types
Action: This would be for the Hulk types.
Drama: Tragic Backstories and power
Romance: (This one is a duo) A loving couple
Sci-Fi: Anything from space
Anime: Anything that would fit in an anime
Kids: Something comical and kid friends. This would be the jobber
B-Movie: Anyone that is cheesy but effective
Horror: Vampire Lord Wolverine
Pick a Character and make them your own. As i had Deadpool on my list, I claim Horror and the Wolverine that killed Dracula and replaced him in a few What If stories. You also get an OC.
The Legion of Unliving is his team battle champions. No solo champion is a part of this. To join...you have to be dead...or at least will be in a few cases.

Mojo is assembling his own personal team to compliment The Legion, only their theme is superhuman celebrities. This will be like...Jersey Shore, but heroes. Pick or create Au versions of heroes or OC's that have something going on in showbusiness.

Finally, looking in on all this are the Exiles...the X-Men love children of Quantum Leap and Sliders. They travel the Multiverse, trying to right what goes wrong. But when your foes keep mucking about, plucking people from said time stream it's is kind of a pain.

And I claim Blink from the AoA, then I cheat, give two oc's to claim AoA/Exiles own Sabretooth.
