I can concur. The attack was Hammerhead and my Deathlok." Carrion turned. "Likely played up by Moon and his associates. Don't get me wrong, i could give two shits. But..." Suddenly a hail of bullets fire at him through a portal. Carrion barely had time to phase through them. He turned to see Warp Spider shielding Foolkiller from Hammerhead with a well placed portal. "Good try Boy. Not good enough but...A for effort." "Up yours." Warp Spider said. "As I was saying, this gets in the way of my revenge. I don't want anything stopping me from getting the kill. Not you officers, not Moon...not anyone." Carrion scoffed. "Clones...pull out. Quick, whisk Hammerhead out of here. He was a good sport." Carrion let go of Hyde. "He has a healing factor, I can tell. He will live." He began to float. Armor turned and fired a thick cable of webbing. "THIS IS NOT OVER!!" Cyber Spider turned. "Tend to the wounded Hero." He said to Peter before taking a flying leap. Night screamed. "I WASN'T DONE!!" He relented, warping out. Eddie stood there, a Darkforce blade sticking into his chest. "That...was...not...pleasant." Eddie said as it faded. He slumped over, in pain. The symbiote began work healing him. Quick snatched up Hammerhead and took off. "No complaints or we ditch you." "ANOTHER TIME BOYS." Carrion laughed as he flew off. Hyde laid there, weak and writing in pain. "We should stop them." Ben said. "No...look after the wounded." Peter told him. "Make sure Hyde is ok. You don't want to upset Quake now." I am his gender swapped clone." Spider Lady swung her over to safety and set her down. "Need me to hold your head so the spine heal better?" -------- A Jackal jumped, only to get blasted by a wave of fire. "Genetic scans show their clone make up unstable. They have an hour to live at best. It is best to exterminate them now than let them suffer degradation." "Well Sugah, Ah hope you're more kind to the stable ones." Another was picked up by a web line. "Gwen, y'all get the last one ok?" Flying overhead was Rogue, but...not. She seemed to be equipped with Spider-Man gear, and the other one was a robotic Spider-Man. "We are allies. Do not be afraid." Spider-Bot spoke up. "I am the creation of an alternate Spider-Man. I am his son. Spider-Rogue is an amalgamate of my father and her from an unforutantely long power drain from her world. You are safe." --------- "Oh Peter, you poor...poor thing." The door opened and there stood....the Jackal. "Good thing I am merely here to help. Death is too soon for you. Don't worry, Joyce is safe. Right?" The door opened and she stood there, pointing a gun at him. "She forgets...even if she kills me...I will rise again." Miles snickered as he picked him up. "Come, let me tend to your wounds. I took my game too far, well...kind of. Outside issues and all." Penny turned and noticed that Moon and Spider-Carnage were gone. "Shit!!!" uttered Penny. "They up and left while we weren't looking!!!" Hammerhead just let them take him away. "Just do it, girl!!! You hold it, my healing ability will do the rest." said Lady Deadpool. Spider-Girl's spider sense went off. "Shit... dad's in trouble!!! I gotta go to him!!!" said Spider-Girl as she swung off. "WAIT, IT COULD BE A-- GODDAMN!!!" said Maria as Spider-Girl swung out. --- Spider-Gwen deals with the last Jackal. "Thanks for the assistance, guys..." said Spider-Gwen before looking up and noticing Moon and Spider-Carnage heading to where Peter was headed. "Oops, gotta go... got a creator to fight, a hunk to save." Spider-Gwen fired a web and swung out. Noir Spidey swung into action. "Yuck... these guys... did the Green Goblin marry an ugly animal in this reality?" uttered Noir Spidey as he looked at the Jackals. --- Peter was too weak to fight him. However, someone enters through the window. "Funny how you mention returning after being killed... we do that too." remarked Dr. Moon as he and Spider-Carnage aimed their guns at the Jackal. "So even if your gang of carnival freaks arrive, we won't be easily defeated." "I would ask Dr. Moon to let me riddle you both with bullets... problem is one of you will come back..." said Spider-Carnage as he looked at the Jackal. Peter just looked down. He felt awful. He was worried about Joyce. He just didn't know what to do. |

The Doppelganger fired a line and followed.
"Maria...I sent Bot and Rogue after them. They got back up." Peter said.
"Well...better them gone than them killing us." Weasel said as the suit powered down.
Patricia held her head in place. "So...you a clone too?"

"Neat. You have a Carnage." A black portal opened and Night Spider appeared. "I have a Darkforce user."
"Can I kill them all Father?" Night Spider laughed.
"No son, not yet. Parker is on a no kill list. Too soon, he hasn't suffered enough and...well Joyce is my work Moon. I don't like hacks touching my things." Jackal said as he reached in his pocket and pulled out what looked like a dog whistle. "I can live long enough to blow on this and fuck up your symbiote enough for Night to impale you both like Vlad Tepes Moon. He would too. He is a good boy." He glared at him. "So...what brings a hack like you to a place like this?"

Peter looked up and sighed with relief when Spider-Gwen walked in. She grabs Moon's handgun and removes her mask and hood. Then, she grabs Peter. "Now, you effers... He stared at her. "He calls you an improvement by giving his powers to you. I see that as an insult. Might as well have tossed in some Osborn. however...I ask you to prove me wrong. She then looked at them angrily and put Peter on the couch. "You wanna see improvements, boyos? I'll give you improvements." said Spider-Gwen defiantly. She then charged and prepared to kick the Jackal in the face. Suddenly, Spider-Girl swung in and grabbed Peter. She then jumps out the window and swings away. "Hold on there, d... Peter... I'm taking you to see Aunt May... she needs to have a talk with you." said Spider-Girl. "Aunt... May?" uttered Peter. (Peter and Spider-Girl's part continued in "At the Hospital") |
