Mamushi let the claws hit, sinking in. "Ahhh...doubtful. Rapid healing factor. I can even speed it up if I please." Mamushi's mouth opens. "Care for a bite?" He laughed, taunting her. He wasn't going to, yet. The head game was too much fun.
"Danvers...you speak as if that bitch is her." Quick laughed. "If she is Ms. Marvel, I am the one true Spider-Man." He laughed mockingly. "You would think alien, that you could tell when a fast one is pulled."
"Well...look what karma brought in." Spidercide began to cackle as he sprouted two more arms. "And you have no right to judge me. Mary Jane would never kill her best friend. You...you are not alive. Not her. You are just a weapon with her face."
"I sat behind Jack because the only other free seat was with Flash. And since you were in the paper. The crazy kid taking photos...if I only knew." Joyce grinned.
"Gwen...focus. WHatever happened before...it is over. I live with a guy who kills himself just to get some Cosmic Death Goddess tail. Trust me...coming back isn't as weird as you think. I died once too...not ME me but i saw an evil twisted supervillain me from another reality get capped for trying to kill Wade and Peter. I saw my own death. Almost just as effed up. But you are back. Choose life and...Nani the fuck is that?"
"AHAHAHAHA!!! SPIDER-MAN...and..." Standing across from the attack was a cybernetic man. "I did not factor how confusing this could get."
"NANI?" Takuya spun around. "PROFESSOR MONSTER?" He froze as he saw three others appear. <"Impossible, I saw you all die.">
Amazoness smiled. "Thank the Jackal for our revival, and our second chance at revenge." She said as she, Rita and Bella show up.
"You killed my enhanced Chojinju prototype. Not a big loss. He was an early keepsake for the combined power integration we are trying out. Soon, all of us will have enhanced superhuman powers paired with superior Machine BEM Technology. The Clone Iron Cross Army is here...and we will destroy all." Professor Monster declares.
Quick Spider sighed. "And I work with this windbag..."

The portal closed behind her. "Maybe... maybe not... how can you be so sure about her?" taunted Spider-MJ. Peter smiled. "God... I guess you really like them crazy..." said Peter. He then stroked her face. "Too bad the crazy kid got arrested once... it cost him his job." said Peter. Gwen tried to pull herself together when she suddenly saw the new arrivals. She started shaking. "Be strong, Gwen... don't let fear get to you." said Penny. --- Back at the station, Barbera saw someone running in. "Ey, Scarlet, ya got a visitor." said Barbera. Jackie ran in. "BEN!!!" yelled Jackie frantically as she ran to Ben and hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. |

Rogue got close but Rita and Bella pulled a bow and a machinegun and fired at her. She was nicked by an arrow before she could get a shield up. "Damn."
Mamushi turned. "LeBeau's woman?" He said, recognizing Rogue, ignorant of her origins. He blocked anotner swipe. "Stop you are boring me."

Apparently, Clone Marvel's power had somehow been increased by something, which caused Spider-Carol to fall into a coma. --- "Take me with you, Ben... "No." A creature suddenly jumped over Professor Monster. "YOU WILL DIE HERE!!!" It was like someone combined the looks of Spidercide with Ben Reilly. The Creature went right for a fleeing Takuya. "DIE!!"

"R...run." Having suddenly warped in to check on them, Warp Spider arrived in time to see this attack come, and did the only thing he could do. The fist was right through his chest. "Can't..beat this one. Spidercide's..successor. Peter...tell Patricia...not to give up, and don't you dare either. I die...so you can finish this."
The hooded creature laughed. "How noble...traitor. Die pointlessly for it." It pulled it's fist out of Warp's chest, causing him to hit the ground, dead. "Peter Parker, I am Arachnarok. I am your demise. Flee now...and know...your time comes."
"PAUL!!! YOU...YOU SON OF A..." Joyce glared at him.
Mamushi stared at this. He jumped on board with the clone Felicia. "Interesting..."
"Gomenasai..." Takuya was visible shaken as they began to pull away. "I...I failed." He then snapped out of it. "The...down the hall and...to the right...after the third set of doors."

"We just scored first blood." Professor Monster said as he glanced at Quick Spider, who was standing over Warp's body.
"You....you idiot. You just...had to...keep being stupid." Quick was visibly upset.
"Pick up the trash...and head back to base." Arachnarok turned. "We are done."
"Shut up. Give me a moment. He.." Arachnarok grabbed Quick by the throat.
"I won't hesitate to pull your spine out through your mouth and leave you a bloody blossom of meat and guts. Do what i tell you. I now lead us clones as field commander. I am the ultimate lifeform." He let him go. "Any objections?"
"Maybe later." Spidercide was annoyed by this, but it was not the time or place. "Let's get the fuck out of here."

"One side, lemme through." Spider-Rogue said. "Kinda borrowed the brains of the Exile's Dr. Strange a few times. Got me some insight into medicine for the non normal. Ah can help some." Rogue took of her gloves. "An' yes ah can control mah touch. Hush and watch."
Takuya suddenly went to punch a wall, but Jack caught it. "Dude...I get ya. Sucks that he died, but he didn't do this so you can go full emo. Ya do that...we're gonna have issues. Besides, you're a freaking Tokustasu. Man up and fight for people's smiles...or...whatever ya fight for. Otherwise...that was a waste of life."

"Ok, so...what now? We got that Professor Dillrod and Super Spider Asshole to fight. Anything else?" Jack asked.

Spiderbot turned. "We did suffer a casualty...Uncle Ben."
Ben tensed up, it fell odd being called that. "Who?" He asked.
"Warp Spider, foemen from the owner of this ship have paired up with Miles Warren. Their combined technologies are making monsters out of clones. Apparently this was a Next Gen Spidercide. It attempted to kill Takuya, but instead it slew Warp Spider, who took his attack." Spiderbot stared. "I am sorry, for your loss."
"No...Paul...they...they killed my...Warren." Ben then let out a loud scream. "I'LL KILL YOU WARREN!!! THAT WAS MY BROTHER YOU SON OF A..."
Takuya looked away. "I...thank you but, to hear his pain. It hurts."
"Weaklings. You were not strong enough to save him." Mamushi laughed.
"You bastard. Have you no heart?" Takuya asked.
"No." Felicity said. "He doesn't."
"You didn't complain when we were together." Mamushi said, mockingly. "Listen...it is a simple matter really. You get strong, you beat down the weak. You hate how that sounds...but that is how even you heroes live, is it not? I know some of your foemen have tragedy that lead them to their lifestyles. Tell me, as you wailed on them, molded them into their roles....did you care at all?" He grinned. "No, I somehow doubt, even if you did, that it was enough."
"Can we feed him to the goblins?" Jack asked.
"NO...God if he became a Goblin, so many would be dead." Felicity said to him.

"Miss Marvel... why?" said Peter, not knowing how to handle Miss Marvel going traitor. He didn't want to believe that his friend had become traitor, but the spider-sense of a person with spider powers never lied. Still, he prayed that this time, Spider-Carol's spider-sense had been wrong, but there was little to no possibility of that. "I can't believe Miss Marvel would do this... I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!!!" said Peter with both anguish and rage. Peter then collapsed in Joyce's arms and cried on her shoulder. He hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go of her. In just one day, he lost Aunt May, Felicia and Paul. Like Ben, Paul was like a brother to Peter. And things had been made worse by him discovering that he had children who had been turned into goblins and Miss Marvel could have turned traitor. |

"Who are you calling a villain?" Mamushi stood up. "Lumping me in with you. Do you have any idea the life I had? I am a taker because I was cast off like a snake's skin because I was born a freak. Candra paid tutors because we should at least understand the basics." He looked at him. "Tell me again about my choices...then recall men like you are at fault for Sentinels. Do you have robots made to kill your kind made with tax money?" He stood there, waiting for an answer.

Maybe it's Mojo...or other Mojo with legs...or one of them? We can't assume Dude. Not trying to insult you Carol, I am not being a dick here. "The Jackal is about, never trust our eyes. We once were sold that Aunt May was dead. We had Reed runs tests, never learned she was a fake. The lady that died...was some old actress set up to die as May. Yet we were so damn sure." Ben looked at Jackie. "Thank you."
"They're right. Open mind Peter. Says the girl we were all sure was Gwen...including me." Joyce reminded him.
"See...right there. Solid point." Jack point. "Thank ya Joyce."
"Not all variables are known right now. We must be cautious. We must believe both options viable, even if we are dead certain." Spider-Bot told them. "Our enemies are too cunning."

Gwen had an outburst and pushed Penny aside. Dave grabbed Gwen. "HOLD IT, SWEETIE PIE!!!" yelled Dave as he grabbed Gwen. "LEMME GO!!!" yelled Gwen, having a panicked tantrum. "I MUST GET AWAY!!!" She then remembered when she tried to convince Peter to go away. "Pete, boyo... let's get away from here... me oul fella is gone... I have nothing to return to... and you just keep using that suit. Please... let us escape... I don't like how things are going." said Gwen. "NO!!! I can't do this... I'll keep wearing the suit. I must do it." said Peter. "But Pete... it's taking over your life... please, do it for me." said Gwen. "No... I MADE A VOW AND I WON'T BREAK IT!!!" said Peter angrily, sounding quite obsessed. Back in the present, Spider-Gwen tosses Dave aside and then goes to Peter and starts bashing him in the chest without making him budge. "WHY DIDN'T YOU RUN AWAY WITH ME? WHY?!!! WE COULD HAVE AVOIDED ALL OF THIS!!! WE..." said Gwen before breaking up and crying without hope as she kept punching Peter. Peter just stood there. Regret and sorrow were the only expressions in his face. Penny was going to take Gwen away, but Peter stopped her. "No... let her vent her anger on me... I deserve it." said Peter, his guilt kicking in once again as Gwen kept punching him until she stopped and collapsed. |

"Because I am not like you people. I am not all human upstairs. Animal mutants are sometimes cursed with animal instincts. I ate the family dog because I was a hungry little 5 year old. Whole. I felt him struggle inside and die in me. My Dad came in...he saw this...and did he try to understand? No...he beat me. I did try...but humanity has trouble accepting those who are not fully human. I eat and kill things because parts of my brain are snake. No one wanted to understand. I was just the cruel man who ate a dog as a little boy." Mamushi made a face. "Did anyone understand the horror I went through, realizing I just consumed and crushed an animal that grew up with me? No, I'm a dog eating monster. No understanding, no forgiveness...I'm a mutant monster. Everything wrong with the world. What if it is a baby next? Now imagine me, even in my own group, holding my son and hearing some asshole tell me...he's not for dinner."
He was tense, trying not to lash out. "It is taking EVERYTHING...to not sink my fangs in you. The animal in me sees you as a threat. I thought I had someone once." He glanced at Felicity. "But after a while...Spot...you get sick of people walking away. So then maybe...you learn to not keep on taking hits. Maybe...they're right? I mean...the only reason she is looking at me is the Guild right now. She left me. She took away my son. I didn't leave. I made my choice. Sometimes...the choice is made for you...even if you try."
Takuya looked at him. "My God. Such a tale..."
Mamushi's eyes went to reptilian slits. "So tell me now...what is normal for a snake man? What job will accept a dog eater? What human wouldn't hear that tale and scream ANIMAL!!! at me?"
Ben got his hand in the way. "Gwen...you're getting a memory bleed. You're not being you." Ben looked back. "It really isn't helping. She isn't THAT Gwen. If she is, then I suppose it's game on for who is the real Peter again. So unless you want to avoid that shit...don't take this. It is not healthy for her."
"Oh fuck no, guys. That's the worst." Jack said.
