I felt him struggle inside and die in me. My Dad came in...he saw this...and did he try to understand? No...he beat me. I did try...but humanity has trouble accepting those who are not fully human. I eat and kill things because parts of my brain are snake. No one wanted to understand. I was just the cruel man who ate a dog as a little boy." Mamushi made a face. "Did anyone understand the horror I went through, realizing I just consumed and crushed an animal that grew up with me? No, I'm a dog eating monster. No understanding, no forgiveness...I'm a mutant monster. Everything wrong with the world. What if it is a baby next? Now imagine me, even in my own group, holding my son and hearing some asshole tell me...he's not for dinner." He was tense, trying not to lash out. "It is taking EVERYTHING...to not sink my fangs in you. The animal in me sees you as a threat. I thought I had someone once." He glanced at Felicity. "But after a while...Spot...you get sick of people walking away. So then maybe...you learn to not keep on taking hits. Maybe...they're right? I mean...the only reason she is looking at me is the Guild right now. She left me. She took away my son. I didn't leave. I made my choice. Sometimes...the choice is made for you...even if you try." Takuya looked at him. "My God. Such a tale..." Mamushi's eyes went to reptilian slits. "So tell me now...what is normal for a snake man? What job will accept a dog eater? What human wouldn't hear that tale and scream ANIMAL!!! at me?" Ben got his hand in the way. "Gwen...you're getting a memory bleed. You're not being you." Ben looked back. "It really isn't helping. She isn't THAT Gwen. If she is, then I suppose it's game on for who is the real Peter again. So unless you want to avoid that shit...don't take this. It is not healthy for her." "Oh fuck no, guys. That's the worst." Jack said. "Don't give up... there may be people who might accept you. Like Shanna... the She-Devil." said the Spot. "She has dealt with your kind before and takes care of them in the Savage Land. The Animal Mutants look up to her as a mother figure. You would be welcome in there, no matter how much you give in to your animal instincts." "I AM A FREAK OF NATURE!!! I'M NOT THE REAL GWEN STACY!!! BUT WHY DO I HAVE HER MEMORIES?!!! I DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE!!!" yelled Gwen after hearing Ben. Her tantrum was getting worse. She was reliving memories of her death all over again. She then looked at Peter and pointed at him. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" yelled Spider-Gwen with a manic anger. "WHY COULDN'T YOU STOP USING THE SUIT?!!!" She then fainted due to stress and overexertion. Dave grabbed her. "Damn, son... talk about one hell of a lashout." uttered Dave. "I'm... not... real..." groaned Gwen with sadness and weakness. Peter sighed with regret. She was right, this was all his fault. |

"I will talk to her." Ben said. "Pete...I know what you are thinking and no. Stop with the Parker guilt already. She would have been made no matter what. Warren doesn't need a reason beyond you existing. He would never let you HAVE a normal life, that is not your fault either. It's his sick fascination with Gwen." He looked at him. "Don't become like him. Messed up but some twisted mindset. Hell, that's why Kaine still has so many issues. He can't let go either." He knelt down and picked up Spider-Gwen. "If you pull this maudlin crap, you'll get some harsh words from me. You are not at fault for all the bad that comes your way. Sometimes...it just that your foes include some real fucking assholes. Miles Warren is asshole number 1. At least Norman is trying."
"He speaks true. Professor Monster hunted me down, forced my hand many times when I was just trying to relax." Takuya nodded.
"The Savage Land...so what you are saying is I do have no place in society?" Mamushi said. "That I should just slither off to a land of monsters?" He was pissed off now.
"MAMUSHI, STOP!!" Night Cat yelled.
He snapped out of it. "Tch." He turned and walked over to a window and began to look out of it, he was done with this talk.

Outside the ship, a black suited Spider-Man was kicking back and relaxing as he looked at the sky. This is the Stealth Spider. He is looking for his twin sister Lisa while his parents, an older Peter Parker and an older Joyce Delaney, are living in an apartment in New Jersey. "Boy... it's so good to be on top of the Japanese Spidey's ship, kicking back and relaxing without being noticed. If only I could find Lisa." said Stealth Spider. |

A talk from a stranger isn't going to change things like that. He walked away because he is trying not to be the animal. That's something. He usually gives in easy. That's a sign that some of it registered. Don't toss that aside by brow beating him. Otherwise all you'll get is an animal that feels cornered...one that will bite to protect himself."

The hate some people gave me on Twitter for dumb things...like my voice, my hair dye period, being Irish, playing a game the way they didn't like because some people want everyone to 100% perfect play and not get the point of..." Jack paused. "Wow, that one is deep seated, huh?"
"I get it Sean, and yeah, I can imagine. People make cracks about my hair too." Ben said. "And some assholes get mad when they order hot coffee and it is hot. Maybe they are the real super villains?" He joked.

"What are you doing?" Ben asked.
"Saving her." He opened the interior door and stepped in. "Please release me Takuya."
Takuya nodded and the door opened. Spider-Bot took off.

Spider-Bot turned. "Gwen has.." He looked at Ben. "Where did she...nevermind, tracking warp signature." He then walked to an airlock. "What are you doing?" Ben asked. "Saving her." He opened the interior door and stepped in. "Please release me Takuya." Takuya nodded and the door opened. Spider-Bot took off. Stealth Spider still was in the roof, kicking back and relaxing, but was woken up by a noise. He looked back and saw Spider-Bot. "Awwww, shit... here comes the Eviction Police." said Stealth Spider as he stood up and raised his hands. "I have the right to remain silent, I have the right for an attorney, and if I can't afford an attorney, you'll give me a teddy bear." |

"Unfortunately, he still doesn't know that a harmonica playing blonde guy who is a frequent client at his cafe is more than he seems." "H-harmonica playing?" said Jackie as she took her harmonica from her pocket. When the kid revealed his face, Peter saw similarities to himself. He looked a bit like him when he was 19. "So... if you're my kid... then that means the girl with the black suit..." said Peter. "Yup... we're twins... she is the more chatty of the two, y'know... I... well... I kinda... stumble on words." said Buck Parker. There was a moment of awkward silence before Peter spoke up. "Yup... you definitely are my kid." said Peter. "Yeah, but... I'm not alone... I mean... I was sent back with you two... I mean... not you you, but..." said Buck. "Hey, h-hold it a minute..." said Peter, processing what Buck was stumbling to say. "You mean to say that an older me and an older Joyce are here?" "Yeah... well, not here here... they're in Jersey... but still... we were brought back to give Lisa a bit more encouragement." said Buck. "I see..." said Peter with a smile. He then puts his hand on Buck's shoulder. "So... what's your name, kid?" asked Peter. "Bryan... Bryan Parker... but everyone calls me Buck." said Buck. "Except Lisa... she calls me... ummm... Night Monkey." There was an awkward silence until Peter started laughing at the nickname. |
