Xi'an spun around, as did the X-Men.

"Psylocke...Ms. Romanoff, Thor...X-Men of 2099...a pleasure to meet you." A girl with a staff and mask spoke, with her was a fish man and a massive colossus like Sumo. "I am La Bandera...and I was sent by Charles Xavier to find you all. But not yours, still, a good one."

Xi'an stared. "Another Xavier?"

The fish man looked at him. "Yes. One from a world where he made a true and safe nation for us, not like foolish Magneto."

"Caribe, please. Let me do the talking." La Bandera said as she stepped up. "Indeed, as some of you might know if you follow the news, I was among many patriotic heroes murdered by a mutate named Zeitgeist. Not the X-Statix guy. The first one. This Xavier...brought me back to life, no issues. He said you needed help on a pilgrimage, and we had someone who knows you well enough to find you."

Bloodhawk looked around. "There...is that...Nitroburn?"

There was a vehicle parked near them.

"The Driver?" Meanstreak stared.

"He is leaving, he has work to do. He was just our ride. Caribe, Steel Sumo and I were asked to help you." La Bandera said.

"Demon, you say? Can't be any worse than this." Caribe asked.

"And why is a fish man here in the shocking desert anyway?" Meanstreak asked back, looking at him with confusion.

"Because I can. Heat isn't a weakness to me, no more than any other. I am a halfway point between fish and mammal. Besides...I must learn to endure." Caribe snapped."

"Ok, down." La Bandera said to him. "Sorry, Morlock's have a habit of not liking criticism."

"A Morlock...a real live Morlock. Thor's beard..." Krystalin stared.

"Sorry, your people lived on in story, your ability to survive and endure inspire us." Xi'an said to him.

"In story...what happened?" Caribe asked.

"War." Xi'an turned. "We should be off then, if we are to help."

"I am going to have to decline...or are you against one's religious beliefs?" Krystalin said. "Fact is, in our era, he is the basis of the major religion of my time. It is him, Wakanda maintaining their following the Panther God, and the Sisterhood of the Howling Commandments. Well that and the rumors of the Mutant Messiah."

"Well those not worshiping the almighty Credit." Meanstreak added. "Sorry Mister..."

"That is Donald Blake." Caribe asked. "He is allied with Thor."

"This is not the case in my era. In mine Donald was a false alias set up by Odin to teach him humility." Steel Sumo said.

"And what is your story?" Xi'an asked.

"I....was...a member of my reality's...Brotherhood of Mutants." The Sumo said sheepishly. "But I sided with Xavier because he seemed wiser than my Quicksilver."

"Quicksilver?" Meanstreak said. "Dude, he took over?"

"Magneto perished alongside the Phoenix...and half of America to destroy the Monster Mold. Side Note: Never allow the Phalanx to merge with Sentinels." Steel Sumo said. "Pietro took over...with less than stellar results."

"There are worser fates." La Bandera said to him. "So, i was given a vague statement on where exactly you are going. Precogs are uncommon on Krakoa."

"I hope not far. I might be able to take the heat but I hate how hot it makes my metal skin." Steel Sumo said.

"Well it is good then that I at least got some idea." La Bandera looked at Psylocke. "And a message from another, back from the dead. Acceptance is due west...from someone worried about his Dearest Sister." Psylocke would instantly know who she meant. While Brian spoke fondly of her...only her other brother spoke to her like that.

James Braddock Junior, who was sadly killed by Brian to save the world from his madness. "Before you worry...we have medicine that cures one of insanity. James is taking it and is finding himself again." La Bandera explained to her. "he will not be a threat. in fact he is one of chief guardians."

"They can bring back the dead, huh?" Henri said. "A pity...we burned her body."

"You lost someone?" Caribe asked.

"A friend. Serpentina. He neck was broken by a traitor." Henri said.

Xi'an made a face. "Junkpile, my former brother in arms. She was resurrected by a creature named Graverobber, but after we beat him..."

"He's with us. Graverobber I mean. He's part of our resurrection crew. If Sinister does not have a mental template, he revived the dead using a refined process Spiral taught him...Mojo's assistant...and we get a psychic template to revive the mind. From there Sinister is able to restore memories in future recreations, should someone die." La Bandera said.

They all turn to her. "You have Graverobber in your ranks?"

"And he helps us revive the dead. He isn't a threat anymore. He knew where you were, in fact he is why we are here to help. He wants to make amends, I assume mostly with...whichever one of you is Haddad?" La Bandera asked.

"That would be me." Cerebra spoke. "She speaks truly. Simenon is no threat now." Cerebra blinked. "And she is not lying...about anything. I can see this James Braddock standing with him. And an Xavier, and...Apocalypse?"

"Actually he goes by •┤Å├•, it is Krakoan. But if you can't say it, he does not mind being called by his old name." Steel Sumo said. "Now...if you wanted your friend back...you could do a contest. Spiral could...reform her body somehow."

The X-Men of 2099 stare at each other.

La Bandera frowned. "I cannot clear your allies to visit yet as, this is something of an assessment. But..."

"But Charlie Cueball is watching and told me to come as a gesture of good will to you and yours." A man with a mustache showed up in a top hat and...bath robe. "Sorry, wuz bathin' in a waterfall. Didn't have time fer much and didn't want to show up buck naked. Did that to the council once. Our Rogue nearly send me flyin' and it was this or I show up stark naked." He held out his arms. "Come give us a hug Betsy."

"Well...no more weirder than our group." Skullfire said.

"I walk out forgetting the time in my underwear one time Tim. One Shocking time..." Meanstreak muttered.

Xi'an snickered at that.

"...the whole world is against me." Meanstreak grumbled.

"Well, at least it wasn't cold." Luna teased.

"There is that." Henri smirked. "Thank you Luna."

Krystalin looked at her.

"What? It is no fun picking on him 24/7." La Lunaticia said. "If I wasn't with Tim..."

Skullfire shot her a look.

"What? I am not dead Tim. You can look at other women. Touch them and someone involved dies but..." Luna replied.

"And here i thought a lady who uses her bits to bamboozle her foes wouldn't mind." Jamie said before morphing his bath robe into a T-shirt and shorts. "There Betsy, get it out. I'm doing alright. Held poor Cerebro hostage for a good 5 minutes after I awoke before the darted me with meds. Didja' know in Charlie's world they didn't affect anyone with an X-Gene? Ol' Cerebro and Prosh done fixed the formula." He snickered. "Lookit me, spountin' strangers names and all while I am hugging my sis for the first time since....well..." He paused. "We should tell Brian and his magic girlfriend I am back and not bonkers. Jim Jaspers is too. He is about and such on Krakoa. Says Hi too. We had this like...big talk on reviving our types. Was kinda complicated. Cerebro remade Jim outta nanobots and made him make himself real. Apparently we don't clone too well. Errant thoughts bein' all bad and such mid development. So Jimmy did that then...they remade me and...rambling again. Sorry, still kinda...out there a bit."

"So a mere reformation of nanotech to flesh via willpower. Viable." Cerebra looked at him. "So why can't you just do all this reviving yourself?"

"Good question, hate the answer...Grandmaster. He is kinda nerfing us reality warpers. Jim and I asked Charlie why don't we just get the Witch and Franklin Richards and give him the ol' heave ho...and I got told it's be like tryin' ta drown the ocean. The Reality Stone trumps all, save maybe a Mind Stone boosted Onslaught. So...he asked us to let them get creative and be more showy and not...plot device people alive." Jamie said. "We can help each other though. Gives them Mojoversers some feels moments of camaraderie." He looked at her. "So...still in that body, eh Betsy?"
